Whether you are dealing with a small patch of mold in a crawlspace, undertaking a major renovation that may disturb old materials, or seeking to improve your property’s overall air quality, Bloom Environmental offers the licensed and certified services you need.
The humid climate and geological conditions common in Indiana can often lead to issues with moisture intrusion, which in turn can foster mold growth and compromise air quality. Additionally, materials like asbestos in older homes and the presence of naturally occurring radon gas require professional testing and remediation to ensure occupant safety. Bloom Environmental is equipped with years of experience and specialized knowledge to address these complex environmental concerns, providing peace of mind to homeowners and securing property value for realtors and investors.
They pride themselves on a comprehensive approach, which includes thorough inspections, honest assessments without high-pressure sales tactics, and meticulous work to ensure the problem is solved at its source. For instance, a customer who experienced flooding and discovered asbestos-containing materials was impressed by the owner's rapid response and expertise, noting the consultation was valuable and focused on safety, not upselling unnecessary services. Another customer praised the team for not only cleaning up mold but also correcting the underlying issue—improperly vented bathroom fans—demonstrating a commitment to long-term prevention.
The core of Bloom Environmental’s service is rooted in protecting the health of the community. By addressing hazardous materials and moisture issues, they are actively working to make Indiana homes and businesses safer spaces to live and work. Their commitment to using environmentally-friendly treatments, such as Benefect—a botanically derived antimicrobial—for mold cleanup, further emphasizes their dedication to health-conscious solutions.
For anyone facing an environmental concern in their home or business, from a damp basement to a potential airborne toxin, Bloom Environmental stands out as a reliable and professional partner. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I reached out to BloomEnvironmental after I had some flooding caused by a leak in my house. When all the top level of flooring was torn off, and the tiles and adhesive underneath were tested, they came back positive for asbestos (house built in 1957). They company I was working with through my insurance recommended reaching out to BloomEnvironmental to continue cleanup of the asbestos. When I called, I got a very fast callback from James, and he even squeezed in an estimate within the next couple days to fit my travel schedule. When he came, he had already reviewed the percentages of asbestos in all the tile the previous company had sent in for testing, and after taking a thorough look at all my damage, he assured me I was safe and didn't need to proceed with abatement through his company unless I ran into a snag with the cleanup that was left. He shared a lot of info with me to help me move forward with my repairs. I offered to pay him for the consultation, because I learned so much from his expertise, but he declined and encouraged me to reach out if I needed him again. 10 out of 10 experice with him in the half a week that we interacted. He's good people, and he made me feel much better and safer.
Apr 17, 2025 · Kailee CooperGreat work and reasonably priced! We needed mold remediation, so they cleaned up the mold and corrected the problem -- bathroom fans needed venting through the roof. One of the fans wouldn't work after they were done, and they came back out to correct the issue.Highly recommend.
Jul 09, 2025 · Daniel McIlrathJames was great. He came out and easily and quickly identified the problem and provided a solution. Easy to schedule and communication was great. A+
Jul 26, 2025 · Timothy SteinerWe just had two days' worth of crawlspace rehabilitation done and could not have asked to work with a more trustworthy and thorough company! They were punctual, professional and found problem areas even the prior 2 contractors we had used for past work missed initially. They also made it a point to only do what was needed and even compared our prior quotes from other companies to assess what we did and did not need as well as made recommendations for what we can do to better our air quality long-term. Cannot recommend this company enough for any remedial needs!
Jun 18, 2024 · Melanie Wilson BucherThe owner was awesome - I recently purchased a home, and after I purchased I discovered several potential sources of asbestos in the house that the inspector had missed. The owner came over to the house at no charge on short notice to confirm that I did indeed have transite pipes in my in-slab ductwork and double check that there was no vermiculite in the attic before the electricians arrived to redo the wiring. He assured me that my asbestos tile is just fine as it is so long as I don't disturb it, and even helped me check my siding to see if it might be asbestos. He did not try to sell me on anything, and he was super knowledgeable over the phone and in person, answering several questions and followups. He was able to reassure me that I did buy a good house and that I'm not stuck with any real asbestos exposure risks after covering over all my tile with floating floors and sealing in the floor ducts after putting new ones in the attic. He was also able to identify the various asbestos risk levels. I'm not going to worry about the flooring people potentially breaking a tile or two (exceptional low risk), and I also know about what I can and can't do when renovating myself (don't tear down a whole wall without precautions, but small cuts in drywall are fine). The transite pipes themselves have almost certainly not caused any risk to anyone living in the house, and I can now rest assured that they'll be taken care of for the future. If I ever have any environmental remediation needs, I know who I'll call.
