On the afternoon of Friday, July 4th, we were preparing to celebrate the holiday with friends and family at our home in Truckee when disaster struck: our 11 year old left his upstairs bathroom faucet on full blast for close to an hour. Water was cascading down the walls and seeping from light fixtures in our downstairs ceiling. Needless to say, we were in full panic mode trying to contain the damage with every towel in the house! Given it was a Friday national holiday, I fully expected we’d he left hanging until the following week! Dark thoughts of extensive damage including mold crept into my thoughts. It was a godsend to reach Sam on the phone from 911 Restoration. Sam was on call for the holiday weekend and told me he’d be right out! Within 90 minutes Sam and his crew (Rosendo and Brett) were at my house hard at work. Over the course of the next couple weeks, the 911 Restoration team - Sam, Rosendo, Brett, and Billy - were onsite checking moisture levels and ensuring the remediation work was done correctly and thoroughly and for a very reasonable cost. Every 911 team member we worked with was professional, courteous, and patient and thorough addressing our questions along the way. We recently had 911 Restoration mitigate water damage caused by a leaky hose under our kitchen sink. They got on it right away and did a very thorough job of drying out the cabinets, wood flooring and crawlspace. When it became apparent my insurance adjustor had totally dropped the ball in processing the claim, 911’s office manager, Katy, followed up with phone calls and emails detailing the steps that had been taken and ignored by the adjustor. Thanks to her diligence the matter was quickly resolved with full payment.
