Carlos was professional and quickly fixed the problem. I understood the following person was coming to snake a camera to verify the clog was gone. The follow up person and experience is why there is a low rating. My first red flag was when I heard Carlos on the phone say, “yes, it is a lovely home.” The person on the other end should not care about my home. Why would he ask about my home? He would ask ; because , this job was incredibly expensive and it probably would not be worth the trip if he thought I couldn’t afford it.His language was high pressure and attempting to incite panic.” For example, he said“ so what you are doing is rolling the dice.” Then in an attempt to make it scarier, “ If you choose not to sign the contract; please get a special writer on your home owner’s insurance, because this issue could result in flooding this beautiful basement.” I knew immediately what he was doing. 🙄Even if I thought this very expensive project was needed; RR would not be the company I would hire.” , solely because of the latter experience. The positive side of tolerating this high pitched insult sale was I had a visual that Carlos did a fantastic job of locating the clog and removing the clog. Be aware, follow up visits really aren’t to check the plumbers work; they are a lead in to a second sell.

I’m giving rotor rooter 10/10 just because of the staff. Service was slow to come out and hours after the “set time” but the plumber was so nice! Talked to me and my mom. Felt comfortable with him in my house. I recommend Dakota!!!

Jim was very personable and seemed to do his best clearing our issue, which took a second trip out. He remained kind & professional even when we called with a complaint about the very high cost. We were offered an extra coupon to bring the cost down. But the high cost to clear drains is why I cannot give 5 stars.
