Honest review. I had baseboards installed on a new wall. The first associate left and it looked like I could have done a better job attempting it myself. Sent pictures to Mr Handyman informing them of my displeasure and they asked for a chance to correct the work.Now Richie comes out. This man saved the 5 star rating. He as professional, a true craftsman, and cared about his work and what needed to be done.Richie went above and beyond and I will say it was day and night difference. The work was amazing and even readied it for carpet. Truly a great person and employee.Because the customer service and correction work was so good. I gave 5 stars. Otherwise it would have been different. Do it right the first time.

We had functional issues with a large, heavy gate which was important to our access. Tech person arrived, identified the issue and worked steadily to repair the gate, including paint on surface. We were pleased with the results. We would contact Handyman again if needed.

I was given an 5-6 hour quote for a "honey-do list". I questioned this because I figured it would be at least 8 hours, but I'm not the profressional. Was told no problem and if it goes over they will honey their quote. I had a deadline date for them when this had to be completed. They sent someone out the day before the deadline and the guy told me he couldn't do this due to the time it would take. He spoke with his boss (Derrick) who told him to refuse the job and just go back to the office. I called Derrick and asked if he could at least istall the 2 TVs. SOMETHING. They refused to do anything on the list, which was replacing a screen panel on our porch, hanging a couple of heavy items on the walls, cutting privacy films and placing on windows (the kind you spray with water to apply), relocating one outlet, etc. Very much a handyman list, but Derrick decided this was too extensive for them and left me in a bad situation. Very unprofessional. I understood that there was a poor estimation in time, but they could have done a few items on the list to save face. Horrible service.
