Jul 09, 2024 · Peter DSouthwest Hazard helped assist us in abating lead-based paint and asbestos on a property we are utilizing for a recovery housing program in Gamerco, NM and exceeded our expectations.Guillermo and his team provided timely, professional, and friendly service that allowed us to continue with our plans without delay. Additionally, even though a tenant was still residing in the residence at that time, they were courteous and accommodating, ensuring him minimal disruption. They understood our financial constraints as a grassroots organization and were able to patiently work with us in making payments. The fact that they ultimately charged us one-third less that their original estimate is a testament to their integrity. We would highly recommend SHC for your abatement services.
Jul 17, 2024 · Brian WilsonSHC did an amazing job abating the asbestos in our home in Socorro. Since we live in a small town an hour away from Albuquerque, most contractors put in bids without seeing the place, but SHC took the extra care to come by in advance, and gave us some excellent suggestions before a bid had even been accepted. The price they did quote us was very competitive, and included work we discussed in person beyond the scope of the initial ballpark estimate. They went above and beyond. The work they did was incredibly thorough, both in terms of scope and precautions taken. They've done a huge service for our young family. They're good, honest guys and I highly recommend them.
Nov 03, 2023 · Silowen ZeirWe hired SHC to remove our popcorn ceiling and scrape overspray from our duct openings since the popcorn texture had asbestos in it. Guillermo's quote beat quotes I received from three other companies in town by thousands.Marcelo and his team did the original job in four days as promised, and it was clean as a whistle at the end. His team discovered mold in our ceiling studs and worked with me to get that mold scrubbed and sanitized. Guillermo gave me a good deal for that work and SHC was able to get it done with only one additional day.I appreciate how friendly and responsive Guillermo was given having to schedule the work during the stay-at-home order. And Marcelo did a really good job communicating with me and made sure the abatement and clean-up were thorough.
Apr 12, 2020 · Bryan ArguelloAfter finding out there was asbestos in the popcorn ceiling I wanted to remove, I was apprehensive as to what to expect next. I contacted a few asbestos abatement firms but Edmundo at Southwest Hazard Control was able to turn around a bid quickly and schedule the work during the timeframe I needed. Ceasar and his crew were on time and professional, and tackled the job quickly and thoroughly. They explained the process and what to expect, and were in and out within 2 days with minimal disruption to my home. I would definitely recommend them to others.
