ServiceMaster Fire Rapid Response Introduce
In the vast and beautiful landscape of New Mexico, homeowners and businesses can face a variety of unexpected challenges, from the aftermath of a fire to the pervasive issues of water damage and mold. When these disasters strike, the process of restoring a property is not something to be taken lightly. It requires a professional, experienced, and efficient general contractor who can handle every step of the process with expertise and care. ServiceMaster Fire Rapid Response, a well-known name in the restoration industry, has a presence in Albuquerque to assist the local community during these stressful times. This article will provide an overview of ServiceMaster's services, location, and the features that define their approach to property restoration, helping local residents understand what to expect from their team.
ServiceMaster is a brand with a long history in the restoration and cleaning industry, known for its extensive network and standardized services. ServiceMaster Fire Rapid Response in Albuquerque is part of this larger family, bringing a national brand's resources and training to the local community. The company's goal is to help homeowners and businesses get back on their feet as quickly as possible after a disaster. Their work spans a range of services, focusing on fire, water, and mold damage. They aim to be a comprehensive solution for restoration needs, from the initial cleanup to the final repairs. However, as with any service provider, customer experiences can vary, and it is important for potential clients to be aware of both the company's stated mission and the real-world experiences of their neighbors. Some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the timeliness of project completion and communication, noting that projects can take much longer than initially quoted. On the other hand, the company is known for its ability to address complex restoration issues, offering services that go beyond simple cleanup.
ServiceMaster Fire Rapid Response is located at 8600 Paseo Alameda NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA. This location is situated in a key part of Albuquerque, providing a central hub from which their teams can serve the city and the wider New Mexico area. The accessibility of their office allows them to respond to emergencies and schedule on-site visits with a degree of efficiency. As a local operation, they have a working knowledge of the specific challenges posed by the New Mexico environment, from the dry climate that can affect building materials to the types of disasters that are most common in the region. Being able to access their services and have a physical point of contact in the community is a key factor for local residents who are seeking help during a time of crisis.
As a general contractor specializing in restoration, ServiceMaster Fire Rapid Response offers a variety of services designed to address common types of property damage. Their goal is to provide a complete solution, from the initial assessment to the final rebuild.
Water Damage Restoration: This includes water extraction, drying, and dehumidification. They handle issues caused by plumbing failures, leaks, or weather-related events. Their work is crucial in preventing further damage and the onset of mold.
Mold Remediation: A significant part of their work involves addressing mold issues. This includes identifying the source of the moisture, containing the mold, removing it safely, and treating the affected areas to prevent its return.
Fire and Smoke Damage Cleanup: Following a fire, the company provides services to clean up soot and smoke damage, remove odors, and restore the property's structure. This is a complex process that often requires specialized equipment and expertise.
Reconstruction and Repair: As a general contractor, they can manage the repair and rebuilding process after the initial damage has been mitigated. This can include repairing walls, flooring, and other structural elements to bring the property back to its pre-loss condition.
Emergency Services: They are available to respond to emergencies, understanding that a quick response is critical to minimizing damage and the overall cost of restoration.
When considering a general contractor, it is important to look at both the company's stated services and the actual customer experience. While ServiceMaster is a large brand, specific franchises and their teams can have a distinct impact on a client's project.
Comprehensive Service Offering: One of the key features of ServiceMaster is its ability to handle a wide range of restoration projects, acting as a single point of contact for water, fire, and mold issues. This can be beneficial for clients who prefer to work with one company from start to finish.
Challenges with Communication and Timeliness: Based on customer reviews, a notable challenge has been a lack of consistent communication and delays in project timelines. Clients have reported difficulties in getting a hold of project managers and a significant discrepancy between estimated completion dates and actual project length. This is an important consideration for homeowners who need to get their lives back to normal quickly.
Quality of Work: While some customers have been dissatisfied, others have noted that the work itself, once completed, has been effective. The reviews provided focus on issues with the process and communication, rather than the final quality of the rebuilds and repairs themselves.
Professional Conduct of Staff: There have been concerns raised about the professional conduct of some staff members, including reports of a technician almost running over a neighbor and the feeling that a home was not secure during the restoration process, leading to a robbery. These are serious issues that potential customers should be aware of when considering this service provider.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s been almost 5 1/2 months since we’ve been in our home. There are repairs that need to be done although when a company works 1 day maybe 2 a week it’s impossible to complete in a timely manner. We were estimated end of July here we are mid October. I have reached out to speak with the owner no response. My home was robbed during this process and I still feel it was the workers contracted but nothing rectified. I am less than pleased with their work and communication. I will post recent pics although the only difference is the debris was removed and there is now paint and flooring. Unfortunately we are at their mercy at this point and to anyone out there I would not recommend this company.
Oct 15, 2021 · David BarelaVery unhappy with our experience with Edmundo and company from service master. We had a mold issue in our home and he was very hard to get ahold of. They ended up doing the mold remediation after several weeks of back and forth. Meanwhile, we were down a bathroom. There were times he said he emailed me to update me on the project, and I never received an email. He basically told me he was too busy. But they still wanted the project. In my opinion, if it's going to take months to do what was originally quoted as 1-2 weeks, you should be up front about it. I would have gone with someone who could have done this particular project faster. It was important to get the bathroom back up and running.Apparently, one of their technicians also almost ran over one of my neighbors when they ran a stop sign. That's bad for business.I ended up having the second half of the project completed by another company. Will never use Service Master again.
Aug 14, 2024 · jazmine valenciaI want to compliment Edmundo and his crew for their work. He is knowledgeable and professional. We panicked when our house had water damage but Edmundo responded immediately and calmly walked us through the restoration process. He made the situation easier.
Jul 12, 2024 · Sue HouserWhat an amazing group! Each and every employee was respectful, responsive, professional and friendly. They surpassed my expectations!! Half our house had water damage. They responded within hours of the emergency call. They immediately began the process of water removal. We were always in the loop of what was going on. The Service Master crew worked with our insurance. They removed the water, used dehumidifiers, replaced insulation, installed drywall, painted removed our damaged floor and installed a new floor. The workers completed all work promised and cleaned up each day. Our house looks awesome! I highly recommend anyone that needs their services. Top notch!
Dec 17, 2020 · Marie MartinezDo not use this company for remediation/ restoration services. They cannot be trusted to do a quality or ethical job. They maximize the length of time to do the work and provide very little service. They will not perform all the required testing to certify the property. They do not communicate nor are they accountable for their work performance
