CRDN Introduce
Introduction / Overview
When disaster strikes a Florida home or business—be it a sudden plumbing failure, a damaging storm, or a devastating fire—the physical structure is only part of the loss. The truly personal and often irreplaceable contents, from cherished family linens to essential electronic devices, are equally at risk. For residents across the Florida region, CRDN (Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network) of North Florida is the specialized local partner focused entirely on salvaging these crucial items. Located in Jacksonville, CRDN brings a unique expertise to the disaster recovery process, focusing on the meticulous restoration of 'soft contents' and electronics damaged by smoke, soot, water, and mold.
Unlike general restoration contractors who primarily focus on the building structure, CRDN's core strength lies in their advanced, science-based cleaning and restoration processes for textiles, garments, leather, electronics, and artwork. They act as a vital link in the recovery chain, working closely with policyholders, insurance adjusters, and contractors to ensure that everything from an antique Christmas tree skirt to a modern computer is assessed, treated, and returned to its pre-loss condition whenever possible. This specialized focus not only saves valuable and sentimental items but also significantly reduces the replacement costs associated with a claim.
CRDN of North Florida understands that a prompt, professional response is essential. A key feature of their service is the 24/7 emergency availability, which is particularly critical in Florida where humidity can accelerate mold and mildew damage on contents within hours of a water event. With a team that includes dedicated experts like General Manager Jamie and Operations Manager Steven, they are committed to a friendly, professional approach aimed at restoring not just belongings, but also their clients' peace of mind.

What is worth choosing
Choosing CRDN of North Florida is an investment in preservation over replacement. For Florida residents facing the aftermath of a disaster, the real value lies in CRDN's ability to save items that hold emotional or irreplaceable value. The testimonial from the textile artist highlights this best: the successful restoration of an "award winning masterpiece" that was thought to be ruined, a feat only possible through "detailed cleaning" and specialized expertise. This level of technical proficiency and care for individual belongings is what sets them apart.
However, it is crucial for every customer to heed the "Buyer Beware" lesson from past clients. While the quality of the restoration work itself—the core service—is consistently reported as "done well" and "no problems with the work performed," clients must actively manage the administrative and billing side of the process. To avoid future complications, local users are strongly advised to *demand* written proof that the bill has been promptly submitted to the insurance company and to maintain clear, independent records of all communications and expectations regarding payment submission. By partnering with the expert restoration staff while diligently managing the financial documentation, clients can ensure they receive both the high-quality restoration service and the smooth financial conclusion they deserve from a leading contents specialist in Jacksonville.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1CRDN of North Florida was chosen by our insurance company for restoration of linens damaged after a water leak in the roof. This was in Sept. of 2022. It is now Feb. of 2025. The linens were completed as per contract and the job was done well. No problems with the work performed. Only problem was that CRDN never provided a bill to the insurance company for the reimbursement (Verified with the insurance company) nor even provided to us. Under the understanding that the insurance company hired CRDN for the job, and that we never received a bill, a phone call, an email, etc. we had assumed that the bill was submitted to the insurance company. Low and behold, 28 months had passed, and we receive a letter from a lawyer for the collections of the bills total and interest accrued ($300+) over the 28 months. Not one time in the 28 months had we received a phone call, letter, email regarding this issue of non-payment. Per the lawyer's contract with CRDN, CRDN wasn't allowed to communicate with us regarding why 28 months had passed without notification regarding this issue. In order to close this process and not accrue further interest and additional lawyer's fees, we paid the amount. So, the moral of this story is the age old one of "Buyer Beware", demand that CRDN provide proof that the bill was filed with the insurance company and demand a written notification that they had received payment from the insurance company so that 28 months later you are paying the bill and associated interest accrued due to CRDN's poor ability to manage their dealings with their customers
Feb 24, 2025 · David KinlawI am a textile artist and I have to wholeheartedly recommend CRDN!! When my award winning masterpiece, a embroidered and appliqued Christmas tree skirt was water damaged, I thought it was ruined. From the first phone call to Jamie it was a thoroughly friendly, yet professional experience!! Steven was a miracle worker, his skill, dedication, and pride in his work showed through on my restored and cleaned piece. The detailed cleaning that he had to perform was no easy task and I applaud him!! Thank you Steven, Jamie and the entire staff!! I will forever be grateful!!!
Oct 15, 2021 · shawn gulleyI cannot speak more highly of CRDN. Not only are they professional and their work impeccable, but the people at CRDN are SO wonderful. A majority of our clothing & other house hold items were damaged by mold when our moving company stored the items for us. The moving company took no responsibility and left us frustrated and at a loss of how to restore our items. CRDN stepped in and changed our lives! They gave us information about the mold, about the process of restoring and ultimately gave us the piece of mind that our disastrous situation could be fixed. We are SO grateful to them for their help, advisement, cleaning/restoration services and at the end of the day... their kindness. HIGHLY recommend.
