This location in Brentwood places the company within the greater Nashville metropolitan area, suggesting an intention to serve residents and businesses across this populous region of Tennessee. Geographic proximity can often be a factor for clients seeking quick response times in emergency situations, such as those following severe weather or plumbing failures. While a physical address provides a point of contact, it is always advisable for potential clients to verify the operational capabilities and service reach of any company they consider, especially for critical restoration work.
For Tennessee locals, the accessibility of a contractor is often weighed against their reputation and ability to deliver. Situated in Brentwood, Tri-State Restoration's location implies a focus on serving the community effectively. However, independent verification of their actual service area and ability to mobilize resources across the broader Tennessee landscape for various project sizes is a prudent step for any homeowner or business owner.

Features / Highlights
When evaluating a general contractor, certain features and highlights are typically sought after by clients. In the case of Tri-State Restoration, publicly available information, including customer reviews, provides a specific perspective on their operations. While the company's stated mission might align with industry standards, it is essential for Tennessee locals to be aware of how these aspects are perceived in practice:
- Stated Restoration Focus: The company name suggests a specialization in property restoration following various types of damage, implying a focus on bringing properties back to pre-loss condition.
- Local Presence in Brentwood, TN: Being located within the Tennessee region can suggest an understanding of local building codes and community needs.
- Coordination with Insurance Companies: Restoration companies often work directly with insurance providers, which can simplify the claims process for homeowners. However, client experiences regarding this coordination can vary significantly.
- Claims of Service Accessibility: Like many restoration firms, they may aim to offer services that address urgent needs, crucial for disaster recovery scenarios.
- Significant Negative Customer Feedback: Public reviews raise serious concerns regarding project completion, financial transparency, employee practices, and accountability for damages. One review states, "This 'company' is a SCAM! I had substantial damage to my house and not one job was completed. Tom Herbst, the owner, was paid directly through the insurance and basically took the money and ran. He would send over day labors who wouldn't get paid and not come back. DO NOT CALL!!!" Another highlights, "One of Tri-State Restoration's employees hit my daughter's parked car and owned up to it by leaving a note on the windshield (over $1000 damage). The owner, Tom Herbst, has used subterfuge and delays to avoid paying for the damage that his employee caused. If you are considering doing business with these sharks, don't walk...RUN AWAY!!" These testimonials indicate serious discrepancies between typical expectations of a professional general contractor and the reported experiences of some customers.

For Tennessee locals facing the daunting task of selecting a general contractor for significant property damage or restoration, making an informed decision is paramount. Jul 09, 2018 · David SwosihPryor was very helpful and great. After our home owners insurance denied our claim and refused to pay for our mold issue things changed. We were told they would work with us on the cost of our restoration. On Monday August 15, Tom, one of the managers at Tri-State, contacted me. I provided him with the information he requested. I called him on 8/16, 8/18 and 8/19, he did not answer or return my calls or voicemails. On Monday August 22, I called Pryor to see if he could help but he was sick. I then spoke to another guy at 608-347-xxxx who said he was the operations manager. I advised him that I got his number from Tom’s voicemail and had been trying to reach him for a week to get a quote. He instructed me he would contact Tom and tell him to call me. Today is August 29 and I have not heard anything from anyone at Tri-State Restoration.I guess they didn’t want to work with us after all and our money isn’t better than insurance money. It would have been a courtesy and great customer service to simply get a phone call back. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE!!
