The following is based entirely on the published customer review:

- Allegations of Theft and Damage: The customer reported that a TV wall unit, AC unit, and vanity were "stole" by one of the contractors. Affiliated company, STL Contents, allegedly broke a $7,000 TV and delivered items that were "not cleaned, many broken."

The company was accused of lying about completed work, such as the "attic insulation," which the customer had to prove otherwise. Clear smoke damage on a granite countertop was allegedly dismissed as "just the lighting."
- Safety and Professionalism: Concerns were raised over safety issues such as "glass shattered on my driveway," and razor blades found spread on the floor. The contractor allegedly worked unprofessionally to move the client out of their temporary hotel stay "way above the safety ideal move back in date."

St. Louis Water Restoration Reviews
This company is by far the worst restoration company. One property manger got fired during this entire 2 year process. They also fired several contractors, one that stole my TV wall unit, AC unit, and vanity picking out company. I will be pursing the BBB and health damages. They even worked it unprofessionally to get me out of my hotel room to stop those charges way above the safety ideal move back in date. Rest assure I will get compensated. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE DISRESPFTUL TO YOUR HOME and CARE. They left a suited home - stated the attic insulation was done so I had to do the work to prove otherwise, left a spigot sticking out in the back yard, hooked up my washer machine water heater backwards, the outside spigot thereof only uses hot water, horrible job on the vanities, left glass shattered on my driveway causing a flat that I now believe was the fault of a recent accident, ignored the entire suited garage, left wires dangling everywhere, outlets protruding, lies upon lies on updates, STL Contents, one of their affiliates did zero cleaning, broke my 7 K TV and didn't say anything till bringing everything back, all items were not cleaned, many broken. They left a TV on the ground from a mount stolen during their lovely mistakes everywhere. Andy from CATCO actually said the insulation in the attic was done which I reported to the insurance who agreed they lied (or as they put, they meant no bad will...be fore will). They also defended the granite countertop as that was just the lighting when it was CLEARLY smoke damage plus below the countertop on unprotected area. They left my basement a joke compared to actuals including a finished basement flooring and insulated areas. Worse of all they took nearly two years till I finally got fed up with their lies while they knew I was healing from a severe fire damage. They were taking advantage of me and now I am striking back, rightfully so. They even left a coat with 50 razor blades that were spread from it to the floor.I plan on suing them to all end for their negligence and stress of losses worked and delay in promises.DO NOT USE THEM.
