We had an emergency issue around midnight and we called three plumbers. Roto-Rooter is the ONLY one whose technician actually called us back! He talked us through what was happening and was willing to come out right then. We ended up having him come the next morning and he did a great job answering a ton of questions. He was polite, professional, patient, and thorough.

Unfortunately had a not great experience with Roto Rooter. Had them out to hydro-jet and scope my sewer line. I was told they found sections of original pipe and several cracks, however they do not provide any images from the scope or the location of the problem areas, leaving you with little choice other than to use them for any necessary repair work. The scope was $350, which is pretty absurd considering they don’t provide the imagery.The quote for repair that they were to provide never came. After 4 calls to the office I finally got ahold of the technician who was on the job, who gave me a verbal quote, but told me he could not provide anything formally in writing. I asked him at the time if he could tell me the location of the bad sections of pipe, to which he told me the completely wrong areas (confirmed with another scope from a different company) and failed to mention that I had original clay pipe out to the sewer main.Overall I’m out $1375 and still had to pay another company to come out and scope again, and actually provide a repair estimate.If you’re in the royal oak area, I would recommend Bison Plumbing
