Roto-Rooter responded quickly to our emergency, which we appreciated. However, the experience overall was disappointing. They had my husband sign a contract with blank pricing ranges, and later filled them in with different colored ink showing $7,500 to $12,500. The final mitigation cost came out to $17,000 but was eventually reduced to $12,500.Several pieces of equipment didn’t work properly half the fans were down, and the lift wasn’t working for almost two days. For plumbing, they charged $715 for a stoppage I was actually able to clear myself, yet additional work was still done.This was our first time going through a home emergency, and in hindsight, we would’ve waited for our home insurance to send out their own mitigation team. We felt taken advantage of during a really stressful time, and I would caution others to ask more questions before signing anything.

Happy with the people that were here. Were helpful and informative. Five stars to the individuals. What I wouldn’t give 5 stars to is the cost. They helped diagnose and ran a scope but my problem still exists the same way it did before they came. I paid almost $500 for this. Should have been probably half that amount.
