CRDN of Virginia - Central & Tidewater Introduce
Following a property disaster like a fire or major flood in the Central or Tidewater regions of Virginia, the devastation extends far beyond the structure itself. It impacts nearly every personal possession, from everyday clothing to valuable electronics and sentimental family items. For Virginia residents facing this crisis, a highly specialized partner is needed to save these personal belongings. This is where CRDN of Virginia – Central & Tidewater steps in, focusing specifically on the delicate and complex task of contents restoration.
CRDN, which stands for Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network, has established itself as an industry expert in the meticulous recovery of textiles, electronics, and other personal property that have suffered smoke, soot, water, or mold damage. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Update: reconstruction is complete. We are due to move out of temporary housing in less than two weeks..Textile and electronics delivery has been rescheduled by crdn 3 times again. We have no linens to use when we get back home next week and still no winter coats. It's going to 18 degrees in a couple of days.First it was weather.Ok. Fine. Understandable.Next they didn't have a vehicle, what? You don't have a proper vehicle to do business with?now a broken foot or toe.you only have 1 employee to do this job? We have to call you to find this out , after waiting all morning for you? They have gotten several thousands of dollars from my insurance company and I have never heard from or seen anyone except the guy who was picking up and delivering our contents. They couldn't even contact me today to let me know they weren't showing up.again.NMissing cash, checks, TV's, large floor lamps computer monitor, clothing items and cleaning process destroyed more items. CRDM owner/manager sent an email saying she would not further help and replace items missing when they confirmed that they were in their possession at some point. Instead they brought us a box of someone else's belongings and never came back to pick them up and get to the correct owner and went silent .Ny insurance company says they have blocked them from being used going forward but that doesn't get me compensation for the lost and damaged items. Thanks crdn. You have lovely customer service._-------_------------------------_--------My mom's Insurance hired them after a house fire. The person only came a couple of hours a week over the course of 3-4 weeks to collect items which put the next steps of restoration bring schedule from the start Was told electronics and clothing would be returned in 21 days. It's 6 months later and do not have any electronics and hardly any clothing or shoes. What little that was returned to us in two increments is summer clothing and shoes and every coat returned is ruined. It's now winter and 30 some degrees in the mornings and evenings when we go to/from work and school and we are freezing . Of four pairs of shoes one family member got back two pairs of shoes ruined. Others not very good condition and they were like new when turned in. They gave a box of someone else's clothing , probably one of the other reviewers who are missing items, and took almost a month to come pick that up from us . Almost nothing returned to us after begging for warm clothes for months when this was only to have taken 22 days i have no idea if they even have our belongings anymore especially considering I got someone else's belongings. I kept hearing that they would bring us our stuff, but then they ghost us for a few weeks or say they forgot about us. Now they can't bring anything else to us until everything is completed and we are moved back in our house because they already came out. But they never got it right when they did bring us stuff also keep hearing excuses about being short staffed, no truck rental available, family issues, etc. If they are so short staffed and do not have appropriate vehicles , they should not have taken the job in the first place or any more after ours until they get the backlog out of the way. All of the other contractors involved in our situation say they are the worst to deal with and insurance should not even use them. They say there are much more reliable companies out there. Demand someone else if your insurance company sends them out.
Aug 17, 2025 · erica williamsThis is the worst moving/ storage company I’ve ever worked with. They mislead me in VA. And took my household goods to NC without permission. They have done structural damage to my home and expect me to beg them to have repairs done. They have had my household goods since July 2023. I’ve done everything possible to get in with the owner. Not available. I’ve got broken and missing very valuable things that they can not find. Half of my items have not been returned. There is no other choice but to do a breach of contract complaint. They are dishonest. And I trusted them. I even went to NC. They would not let me see my stuff. But I was told they were going through it by their employees. Why???? Don’t use this company if you ever want to see the stuff you have worked hard for. I had a fire. And my electronics have not returned as of yet eitherI was told after traveling to NC. My stuff was there due to an executive decision. And on Dec 8. No one agreed your company has gone above and beyond. I was my stuff. And damages repaired. Your company can not be trusted. I think you think your company should benefit f this augment and goods. Mine should have never gone there. If you had mentioned that. I would have selected another company to handle my fire
Jan 08, 2025 · MarriettaAbsolutely worst experience ever! I would advise not to use them under any circumstances. They were hired to do an inventory, pack and clean items from my house after a fire. I had several items but returned, they damaged items and did not pay for them and the majority of my items were returned still dirty or smelling of smoke. I requested a refund several times and still have not received it. They lied to me several times. Their idea of doing an inventory consists of packing boxes and counting the boxes. They broke valuable items at my house and never paid me for them. They lost numerous items, they charged for things they did not do. It is a terrible company to do business with. It is already devastating to have a fire but then to have these people come in and take advantage of the situation makes it even worse.
Nov 08, 2024 · Dawn LeeHad two rugs taken for cleaning. Insurance completed payment. They quoted a turnaround time of 22 business days. I didn't hear anything from them and had to reach out every time for an update. After contacting them, I was told the rugs were cleaned and should be returning to them on their next truck swap scheduled that week. The week passed, with no updates. Reached out again to find out that the truck swap did not happen. It has been close to 6 weeks and they are still not able to provide a timeframe for when I should be receiving them back. The only response I am getting is, "hopefully they will be in this week, but they (whoever did the cleaning) haven't given a definitive time yet".Update as of Oct. 25th:I reached out again and once more the rugs were promised to come on the next truck. They said they would contact Monday to schedule a delivery.Update as of Oct. 28th:Again, no contact from the company. Reached out via text to David. No response. Called every number listed which went to voicemail.
