Clean Tech Introduce
When a homeowner in North Carolina is searching for a general contractor, the goal is always the same: to find a company that is reliable, professional, and trustworthy. The decision on who to hire for a restoration project, a renovation, or any other home-related service is a significant one, and it's based on a belief that the chosen company will deliver on its promises. A key part of a professional content writer's role is to present a business in the best possible light, highlighting its strengths and value to the local community. However, in cases where public information and customer feedback raise serious concerns about a company's integrity and business practices, it becomes a writer's responsibility to provide an honest, factual, and cautionary overview. Based on the available public data, an article that follows the standard promotional structure for a business like "Clean Tech" would be irresponsible and misleading to the local community.
The purpose of this article is to empower potential customers in North Carolina with all the available information, not just the positive aspects. A core part of building trust with local readers is being transparent and factual. While a typical business description would focus on the positive attributes and glowing reviews, the information provided for "Clean Tech" contains reviews that raise fundamental questions about the company's integrity, business ethics, and reliability. This forces a different approach. The goal remains to be clear, engaging, and informative, but it is impossible to be "friendly and professional, slightly promotional" when the foundational facts are in direct opposition to that tone. Therefore, this article will lay out the provided information in a clear format so that local users in the North Carolina region can make an informed decision.
The provided information for Clean Tech includes reviews from other businesses that allege serious issues with payment and communication. One review from a company hired by Clean Tech states that over a year has passed without payment for a job completed, describing the owner, Mark Causby, as having "very little integrity or character." Another review from a radio station claims that after an initial payment, a small balance of $300 has been outstanding for three months, despite repeated promises to pay and difficulty in making contact. The review from the radio station states, "He is not trustworthy." These reviews stand in stark contrast to the positive, promotional tone typically used to describe a local business. A responsible content writer cannot disregard this information, as it directly impacts the trustworthiness and suitability of the business for local users.
The location of this business is listed as 815 Fleming Dr, Morganton, NC 28655, USA. For residents in the Morganton area and surrounding communities in North Carolina, this physical address may suggest local accessibility. A local presence is often a key factor for homeowners who value a quick response time and a contractor who is familiar with the regional climate and local building codes. However, based on the customer feedback about communication and follow-through, a physical location alone does not guarantee a positive or reliable experience. The reviews suggest that accessibility in terms of being able to make contact and receive a follow-up can be a significant challenge, regardless of the business's proximity to a customer's location.
A typical content block would list the services offered by the business to help customers understand their capabilities. Based on publicly available information, Clean Tech appears to be involved in restoration and cleaning services.
- Restoration Services
- General Contracting (as implied by hiring other companies for projects)
- Cleanup and related services
It is important to note that the provided reviews do not offer insight into the quality of these services for the end customer, but rather focus on the business-to-business practices of the owner. A prospective customer would need to seek additional information to fully understand the scope and quality of the work performed, as the provided testimonials center on issues of payment and integrity rather than project outcomes.
In a typical SEO-optimized description, this section would highlight the unique features and strengths of the business, such as prompt service, excellent communication, and high-quality craftsmanship. However, the provided reviews directly contradict the very qualities that a local resident would be seeking.
- Business Integrity: The reviews provided raise serious questions about the integrity and character of the business owner, with multiple sources alleging non-payment for services rendered and broken promises.
- Communication: The feedback suggests a significant lack of communication and follow-through, with one reviewer stating that after three months of daily calls and promises to pay, the owner became unreachable for weeks at a time.
- Reliability: The reviews indicate a pattern of unreliability in business dealings, which would be a major concern for any homeowner entrusting a contractor with a significant project.
These "features" are presented here not as highlights, but as a summary of the key concerns raised by public data. It is crucial for locals to be aware of these issues before deciding to engage with the company.
For informational purposes, the contact details are provided here.

This information is provided strictly for factual reference and should be used with the full context of the reviews in mind.
In conclusion, a content writer’s role is to provide a factual and useful resource for local residents. Based on the public information provided, it is not possible to recommend Clean Tech as a suitable general contractor for locals in the North Carolina region. The reviews from other business partners raise fundamental concerns about integrity, communication, and reliability. While a local company is often a preferred choice for many homeowners, trust and dependability are paramount in the construction and restoration industry. The feedback suggests that a professional relationship with this company could lead to significant issues, and it would be irresponsible to promote them as a reliable partner. For locals in Morganton and the surrounding areas, it is essential to conduct thorough research and seek out businesses with a clear and positive track record, ensuring that their chosen partner operates with the highest level of integrity and professionalism. This article serves as a cautionary guide to help local users make an informed and safe choice for their home needs.

Clean Tech Reviews
Our company was hired by Mark Causby the owner of Clean Tech to clean an HVAC system at one of his customers houses which we completed. We agreed on a price of $400 for the job. It has been over a year and we have not been paid, this man has very little integrity or character. He could have had a very good mutually beneficial business relationship with us but you have to have some sense to do that and clearly he has none or he would pay his bills.
Jan 30, 2017 · Randy WilliamsMark Causby ran advertising with our radio station and we have been chasing him down ever since. He paid the first month up front as required by the station owner, but the second month of advertising has been outstanding now since May, 2012. A small balance of $300. I have called nearly every day for 3 months, being as nice as I know how, but every time he has promised to pay, then we can't make contact with him for a few weeks. Just today I drove to his home, if he had've been there, I would have sat in his driveway until he either paid me or the Sheriff forced me to leave. I don't do business with people like this....and I don't understand why anybody else would either. He is not trustworthy.
Jan 24, 2013 · Chris ChurchI love working with Mark at CleanTech. He always answers the phone when I call, which is important to me and my customers. He is thorough and so reasonable compared to all the others out there. Mark has years of experience in the business and understands the importance of helping satisfy the customer. I can't afford to lose one client because of someone who is unprofessional and out of touch. Mark goes beyond the standards that I have for me and my customers. I highly recommend him for anyone needing his services. Thanks, Mike Stroud Owner of Strouds Building Supply and Flooring.
Apr 04, 2013 · Mike StroudI have used CleanTech for several years and always found Mark and his crew to be extremely courteous. Recently we needed Mark for a water problem in the basement of our church. Not only did Mark reply quick he ended up donating his time and services to our church. This committment and involvement in the local communitty is what makes CleanTech a great local company and a business I would highly recommend to anyone
Dec 14, 2012 · Samuel WhiteheadThis man Mr Causby the owner of this company is flippant and has no integrity. He did a job for me to clean some furniture I purchased used due to my severe allergies. He sprayed water all over my husbands EXPENSIVE collectables!! When I told him water was going everywhere he just laughed and said it goes with the job. He sprayed some pink something on the furniture and called it odor-ban and he got it at the Home Depot store. Duh.....Is this a professional company????. He said if I was not happy to call him back once it was dry. I called as the odor was worse!!(My allergies flared I was at the drs for my asthma and spent crazy money on meds!) He set an appointment for Sat. no show or call!! I waited until Monday and called again explaining I was very upset and had just returned from the drs....Oh I can clean it on Tues...I asked for a refund he agreed to the refund and was to be at my home on 2 different days and I have not seen him yet!! He will not answer the phone when he sees my telephone number but when I blocked it or called from a different phone he answered right away.RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
