★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I highly recommend Summit Construction and Restoration. Besides my satisfaction with the quality of the work regarding replacing flooring, carpentry work, plumbing and finishing work, the company was excellent with customer service. The employees were prompt in communication and followed through with questions in a polite manner. Employees showed up on time and left with the workplace cleaned up. Also, excellent sub contractors.
Feb 10, 2025 · Cynthia McAdamsWe worked with Summit a few years ago after a roof leak. There were parts that were great and we had regular communication from Alicia. However, the work fell short in a lot of ways. The drywall had to be redone multiple times and is still uneven (photo 1). Touch up paint was purchased in a slightly different color (I understand that color matching is tricky and completely get that) but the finish didn’t come even close to matching (photo 2). We paid extra (outside of insurance) to have gaps filled under frames after flooring change. The carpenter talked to us about carefully matching and glueing in pieces but instead it was a mix of loose wood that never even stayed in (photo 3).I waited a while to write this since I never write negative reviews (only positive) but overall it was a harder experience and disappointing overall.
Feb 10, 2025 · Kelsey BarrettSummit was amazing! We had a washing machine hose come loose a couple weeks back creating a leak that went unnoticed till this last weekend. Nathan and his team were quick to show up and start getting things dried out. I really appreciated his communication and explanation of the process to restore our basement after things get dried out. Nathan and his team were friendly and worked quickly. Really happy with the process so far.
May 15, 2024 · Leslie LaPoreI can't thank Summit Reconstruction & Restoration team enough for coming out so quickly to help us start getting our lives back to normal again after this latest winter storm. Two gentlemen came to our house quickly after we called, over icy streets and fallen trees, to survey the damage to our home and remove carpets and padding soiled from a burst pipe. They were very professional, courteous and understanding. This level of service has been a huge relief to my family after what so many of us went through during this difficult time. We are truly grateful to Cole and the Summit team and recommend them without hesitation.
Feb 01, 2024 · Jon JohnsonHonestly I’ve reached my final straw after giving so much grace and so many chances with summit.I cannot stress enough or even begin to explain how severely, horrifically awful the 10 months I have had dealing with this company have been, so I’m going to simplify it with bullet points rather than a story.1) Took 3 try’s of scheduling to actually get someone to show up to take a look at our home; 2 no call-no shows with no response for hours or days after, and then a last minute reschedule.2) Getting any sort of communication or updates is like pulling teeth. Plan to follow up 5, 6, 7+ times over the course of weeks or months if you ever want updates or a half-done project to be completed on your property.3) you will be lied to about the status of your project and its completion timeline, repeatedly.4) apparently they treat mold but they just spray bleach on it which is not a treatment for mold.5) their staff sprayed a large quantity of clothes in my closet with bleach and ruined them. It’s been three weeks of chasing down reimbursement for our damaged property. We finally got a response today and were told to come pick up a check at their office. Google says office is open 24/7 so I guessed that must really mean 9-5? I get there at 4:30 and it’s closed. If you’re a business that does not operate normal business hours, communicate it to your customers?? Especially when they’re 3 weeks without clothing that they need and are planning to come by the office.6) I was told the giant holes in my ceiling from drywall repair would be put back together in a week. It has been 3 and we have yet to schedule the completion. This is in part due to my HOA not approving the budget yet, however I had to email in 4 times to be told that we are waiting for budget approval. Another communication issue.7) some of the guys who work here come in my house smelling like weed and picking meth scabs off their face while conversing with my partner and I…. I have little eyes at home watching.A couple of the guys who work here seem nice enough and I think they’re doing what they can, but seem under resourced and if I had to guess based on online behavior and the culture/behavior of the company, this is a top down issue. Major need for policy/standard/expectation overhaul and some employee turnover if this has any potential for becoming a company that I’d recommend, but for now, I’d encourage anyone and everyone to keep far, far away.
