I'd like to begin my review with I am a pretty particular person and like things done a certain way. I was a little hesitant at first to use Possert because I went through my insurance company and it is who they assigned us. We started with the estimator coming to our house and he was professional and quick to get our assessment of damages done. We were then assigned to Jason who was the general contractor. He was friendly and responded to our emails and texts in a timely manner. He is a very busy man and not a man of many words via text or email. Sometimes his texts might seem negative but if you can talk to him on the phone or in person it is a totally different experience. He was quick to schedule workers and showed flexibility when changes were made. The painters and carpenters that we interacted with were timely, courteous and showed professionalism. We were highly pleased with their work. The flooring sales representative Lee that we were assigned to was helpful and pleasant to work with. The flooring installers Joey and Wade were quick and provided a professional installation that looks fantastic. We are pleased with the final work of everything.

Possert is an excellent company with great associates and ownership. They are a locally owned family business in Beavercreek that cares deeply about the homeowners they service in the Dayton community. The owners have the highest integrity which makes you feel good about doing business with them. Their project managers such as Jason are top notch and they work hard to exceed your expectations throughout your project. Highly recommend Possert to handle your construction project.... especially in times of need (fire, storm etc) - you will appreciate their dedication and care when you have an incident that is stressful.

If you want a project to take entirely too long and constantly be done wrong, choose Possert. I hired them to repair water damage in my kitchen. Mitigators came out to dry the affected area. After they did their job, it was about a week or two until I heard from Possert and I was the one who had to contact them. From here, things were a constant problem. The foreman assigned to the project, Logan was only on site three times for a total time of a couple hours. If I needed to talk to him, I'd have to call and leave messages multiple times and even then sometimes it took several weeks to get back to me. On two occasions Logan contacted me telling me what was going to be done next, but his notes were wrong and there were other things that needed done first. There would be weeks at a time where absolutely no work was being done. When the cabinets were rebuilt and brought back, they had to be reworked three or four times because they weren't installed correctly. When the painting was done, it was done incorrectly and had to be redone four times. They tried to argue about charging me for drywall work that "they did", but the problem was, they didn't do it. My brother and I did it. They installed the wrong fitting for the dishwasher connection which I replaced on my own. I called the office three times during this entire project to request someone else and was denied twice until they finally said Jason (another foreman) and his crew would come and finish things up. I was very happy with how quick and efficiently Jason and his people finished things up finally. All in all it was literally almost an entire year of having kitchen cabinets in my living room and hallway, kitchen appliances in my living room, not being able to wash dishes or actually make food. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. negative 3 stars.
