★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am so happy with the work that Aquaguard waterproofing did at my home last week. My crawl space was impossible. No one wanted to touch it. Aquaguard came out gave me an estimate and within 3 days had a crew come to my place and take care of the sump pump failure which caused water to rise and soak up all the insulation under my home. It had all fallen down into the water. There was black mold everywhere. There was a large amount of trash under my very low crawl space. Jr and Jamie worked so hard to clean up the mess and waterproof under my house. The electrician John that came out was amazing. They were true professionals. I give this company a 10-star rating. Jamie and his crew not only showed up every day in 90° weather but also did other little odd jobs for me. Jamie fixed the gate on my fence before he left on the last day. The crew was so respectful and so kind to me. I highly, highly recommend this company. And the price was good too! God bless all that came out and worked at my home. Very satisfied customer
Jul 02, 2025 · Pam ChaseToday we had our annual scheduled maintenance plan performed by Mark Craig. He was very professional and thorough. He found a couple of issues and corrected them. We have had Aguaguard for several years and have always been happy with their service.
Sep 09, 2025 · Robert WolfeBob -- a salesman from AquaGuard -- sold us an internal french-drain project for $50K for two side-by-side condo units (for us and neighbor) after we had rainwater leak into our finished basements in July 2025. Since then, it has been one debacle after another:1. The trench they dug was not per their submitted plan. The city failed the inspection, which delayed the project by over month with our basement being a mess and unusable. We had to pro-actively work with the city to fix the plan to adhere to the trenches they actually dug.2. The third day of the job, Bob neglected his own professional responsibility to secure our front door at the end of the workday by not showing up at all that day. Bob additionally forgot to tell his foreman to lock our main door when they left for the day. We had a burglary in our house that day – they stole my bicycle (which I retrieved from DC police thanks to an Apple Air Tag) along with jewelry and watches (which we haven’t retrieved and most likely never will) – DC police have put a detective on the case. Bob admitted his negligence on a text message after initially denying any wrongdoing and offered to reimburse for the damages. Bob has stopped responding to my texts and calls, now that the job is “done”. Also, we find it rather unusual that Aquaguard does not have any email communications with their clients (all our communication has been over the phone, text or in-person only).3. Bob had reassured my neighbor that even though the permit he applied for to the city said “Unit B” it would work for “both” condo units – which our neighbor questioned but Bob persisted in the accuracy of his permit application. But sure enough, the city inspector proved Bob to be incorrect and their (Unit A) work was delayed by another two weeks (past the original month-long delay due to the incorrect plan and subsequent city inspection).4. They didn’t finish the cement flush with the original cement in the basement, and the flooring we put on is therefore not level – you can distinctly feel the non-levelling when walking on it - the floor will never be level unless the entire floor is gutted and recemented all over again which is obviously very costly and impractical to do.5. Today – about a week after they left completing the job, the sump pump battery suddenly starting loudly beeping (the sound was deafening) – the LED flash code says battery is not charging and needs replacing. They probably gave us a bad battery. There is no one you can speak at the company on a Sunday - we are yet to hear back from Aquaguard on when they will come to mitigate this issue and explain why this happened in the first place.—Edit (9/30)- Barbie and Mark came and tested the sump pump today, and found there was a connection to the backup pump control unit that was disconnected, which was causing the battery to not charge and make the beeping sound. They are both very knowledgeable and courteous!
Sep 30, 2025 · Saikat GuhaI contacted AquaGuard due to a foul smell emanating from my 2 sump pumps. They came out the next day and discovered not only were both my main and backup pumps not working but my main pump in my second sump pumps closet was also not working! Walter Garcia, the technician, explained everything to me in layman’s terms that I understood clearly. He was professional, very neat, and just plain nice. He replaced the pumps (2 main and 1 backup) and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized both pump tanks, cleaned up both areas nicely. I would recommend using AquaGuard for all of your waterproofing needs! If you are lucky you may get Walter as your technician! Thanks so much. I appreciate your prompt and courteous service. See before and after photos. Very satisfied customer here.
Mar 07, 2025 · Shirley ThompsonI have been really impressed by the team at AquaGuard. Mark D, who came to do the initial inspection and make recommendations clearly knows the issues of hydrology and old houses. He provided a few options and did not do a hard sell at any point. He is a consummate professional. The support team in the office has been great, and in particular Barbie was wonderful about keeping in touch and so informative, helping me think through different options over several months. Then the Dream Team of Ronal Rosales and his assistant Joel arrived to do the work, and did an amazing job. They literally moved mountains to get the job done, and left the window well/legal egress in excellent condition, with a sump pump installed in a way that is really effective for the water issues we are trying to solve. They went above and beyond to ensure that any source of water in the basement was accounted for, including gutters and driveway drainage piping. I cannot say enough good things about the work that they did, and their professionalism.
