Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration Introduce
For homeowners and businesses throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond, maintaining a clean, healthy, and structurally sound property is a continuous priority. When unexpected disasters strike—from a burst pipe causing water damage to the aftermath of a small fire—having a reliable, full-service partner for property restoration is absolutely essential. Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration is a well-known name in the Ohio service landscape, but their comprehensive offerings go far beyond the typical laundry or cleaning service. While the search term "laundry" might bring you to them, their specialization is in the heavy-duty restoration and cleaning of your property's valuable assets, from the floors up.
Based right here in Cincinnati, Teasdale Fenton offers a critical dual expertise: top-tier professional cleaning services and rapid-response property restoration. They are the company that Ohio residents turn to when their carpets need a deep, professional clean, but more importantly, when their homes or businesses are impacted by water, fire, or mold damage. This blend of routine maintenance and emergency services makes them a vital resource in the Tri-State area. From tackling pet stains and odors that regular cleaning can't handle to orchestrating complex fire damage cleanup and complete structural reconstruction, Teasdale Fenton positions itself as the comprehensive solution for keeping your Ohio property in excellent condition, or restoring it after a disaster.
However, when engaging any service provider, local users should be aware that the customer experience can sometimes be mixed. While the company provides specialized, highly technical services, recent customer feedback has indicated potential challenges with customer service follow-up, pricing transparency, and consistency in service delivery, particularly regarding the execution of standard cleaning and additional services like deodorizer application. Choosing Teasdale Fenton means engaging a company with deep technical capabilities in restoration, but clients should ensure clear communication on the scope of work and pricing at the outset to guarantee satisfaction.

What is worth choosing
The greatest value in choosing Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration lies in their comprehensive service model and certified expertise in emergency restoration. For any Ohio homeowner or business facing water, fire, or mold issues, their 24/7 availability and capacity to manage the entire restoration process, including reconstruction, is a significant advantage. Instead of juggling multiple contractors for cleanup, drying, mold remediation, and rebuilds, Teasdale Fenton offers a single, streamlined process. Their IICRC certification ensures that the restoration work, especially in complex areas like Mold Remediation and Fire And Smoke Damage, is carried out to professional standards.
However, potential clients should approach the sales and service experience with diligence. Given the clear and consistent customer feedback regarding unexpected upcharges and follow-up issues—such as quotes increasing from "$181 to $400+" and difficulties in reaching management for resolution—it is essential to request a detailed, written estimate before any work begins and confirm the exact services included. The dissatisfaction noted regarding the effectiveness of premium add-ons like deodorizer and the quality of the Carpet Steam Cleaning in some cases suggests that clients must clearly define their expectations and check the completed work before the technicians leave. While the company possesses the equipment and technical certification to handle large, complex restoration jobs better than smaller providers, local users are encouraged to prioritize transparent communication with the on-site crew and management to ensure a positive outcome and full satisfaction with both the service and the final bill.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1UPDATE #3 9/23/2025 I have called multiple times, left a voicemail to the vice president of the company and STILL have not heard anything back. Awful customer service and care.UPDATE 9/3/2025: after a few days of seeing these carpets before moving in, I couldn’t help but feel more and more disappointed and quite upset. They did an awful job. I stewed for days about how to handle the situation. All I wanted was my very first home purchase to have clean fresh carpets for my family. I called the company and was told the VP (Tony or maybe Troy I believe?) would call me. It’s been 5 days and still nothing. I ended up buying a $300 shampooer to do my carpets myself. I literally wasted money to have Teasedale come out and to say I’m livid and beyond upset is an understatement. After cleaning the carpets, and seeing the disgusting water that was pulled up, my concerns and doubt of them doing a good job was solidified. They basically came in and dragged their little wand across my carpets a few times and left!!! I’ll also mention that the guys were here for maybe 20 minutes and they exited their work vehicle reeking of weed as the waited for me to pull up because they got their 30 minutes before my scheduled time. I want my money back, this is ridiculous, I absolutely do not recommend this company. I wasted my money, time, and all they did was add stress to my already extremely stressful situation. I chose this company out of dozens of bigger names and I definitely learned my lesson.8/24/2025 I did a lot of researching on major companies before settling with Teasdale, and after my experience, I would not use them again. The guys who came out (I think their names were John and storm) were nice, but my quote went from $181 to $400+ and after adding on “deodorizer” and pet protection, I can’t even tell it was used. My carpets do not smell any different, I still see stains. They look dirty. I was also told my walk in closets were done, and they absolutely were not!! I’ve been told and I have read that Teasdale and other professional carpet cleaners claim they can remove stains, yet the one in my family room is still very present. Maybe they didn’t try hard enough, or maybe it just isn’t able to be removed, I’m not sure. The last thing I will mention is, after they left, I checked my receipt via email and they charged me for 2 extra rooms that I did not ask to have deodorized or protected. waiting to hear back from someone about that still. This is my newly bought home and I really wanted to have my carpets taken care of and I really don’t feel the satisfaction I was hunting for. Oh also, you guys should absolutely be using corner blockers to avoid raking your tubes and equipment along my walls.
Sep 23, 2025 · RenéeGot our carpets cleaned this morning. They upsold my wife on a $30 enzyme because our carpets "needed" it to match the color of carpet that was hidden under our rug. When I got downstairs and my wife told me about the upcharge. I asked them why there is a $30 increase and he got a little bit of an attitude. So aparently, if you have a clean spot under a rug they need extra money to clean and it still wont match. So the $99 two room deal was out the door at $160+. Too many carpet cleaning options out there to settle. We will look elsewhere next time.Edit for response to company response:To be more clear, the 2 star review is not because the carpets looked the same before and after the cleaning. The two star review is a result of the delivery of the service.
Sep 26, 2025 · Ryan ConleyShane was the technician that came out to my house today, and this guy is a consummate professional. Said he'd been doing cleanings for over 20 years, and I gotta give him credit for being such an easy-going tech after all those years! He was more than willing to talk me through his process, gave me an ETA right up front and made sure to let me know which rooms he'd hit first so it was easy to get things moved around. The pictures I'm attaching to this review are just a small taste of the difference we experienced in our carpets in the whole house. It's a pretty high traffic area between the living room and kitchen, and the results really speak for themselves. Shane also made sure to point out spots in the carpet where he was having trouble with stains (they were oil-based so I didn't expect they could be removed). The pet cleaning service for the '3' rooms that I paid for was well worth it, and the cats are super happy, hopefully they won't ruin the hard work lol.Overall the scheduling process was super easy, was able to get a call from the scheduling team within 1 hour of submitting my information online. They had appointments the next day, but I chose a few days out to give me time to prep the house.
Jun 16, 2025 · Nick WesselmanTLDR: We had lazy technicians who did an awful and negligent job, but management had gone out of their way to make things right. Review was bumped up from 1 to 3 stars because of the helpfulness of the VP and manager.Full story:I had Teasdale out for an air duct cleaning, and the initial service was unbelievably bad. The technicians took several short cuts and didn't set up their machine to pull out the dust and dirt correctly. Instead of cleaning the supply and return ducts separately (with the extraction machine hooked up to the respective duct line) they connected the machine to the air filter box of my hvac. This meant that the suction power was reduced and was pulling dirt and debris into my hvac unit itself. Because of this, our air filter was absolutely packed with the dirt from the ducts and had to be replaced. Our system uses an odd size of 4" filter that costs about $60 each. There was also debris in out whole home humidifier and there is still dust and debris in out ducts. As part of the service they had to cut several 1" holes in my duct work to insert the cleaning brush. Again, not a big deal except for the fact that no one told me this was part of the process. They also didn't clean up the metal shavings from the hole cutting. I was left with a lot of small metal shavings all over my basement in the 8-10 spots they drilled a hole. This included inside my brand new washing machine. They also forgot to plug two of the holes they had drilled. They also knocked over a bottle of coconut water that was on a storage shelf in my basement, but didn't tell me about it. I understand mistakes happen and it wouldn't have been a big deal had they just told me. Instead I found it after they left when I stepped on a wet rug. By that point it had seeped under my basement wall.My family and I spent 6-7 hours deep cleaning our entire house to undo the damage that was done:1. Clean dust from every visible surface on all three levels of our home.2. Washing all bed linens.3. Vacuuming all floors and carpets.4.Clean up large pieces of debris from in front of every supply/return vent in our house.5. Finding and cleaning up metal shavings in our basement. Even after vacuuming I've stepped on 4-5 of them in our laundry room over the last two weeks.6. Wash a rug and mop a floor because of the coconut water.7. Replace the $60 hvac filter.I reached out to the company immediately after the techs left and within an hour a manager reached out. It was the weekend and by Monday morning I had an email from the VP of the cleaning department asking how they could make this right. They had the manager come out to clean our hvac unit, they've refunded the cost of the duct cleaning, and they've offered a complimentary carpet/rug cleaning. I appreciate the willingness to make things right and that's why I bumped the review up to 4 stars.I hope they address the issues with their techs. It seems like the folks in management are trying to do a good job, and care about their work.
Jul 11, 2025 · Matt WellsCLEAN COUCH DESTROYED YARD 07/17/2025I had two cleaning technicians come to my home. Unbeknownst to me, they accidentally ran through my newly laid sod yard for about 20 feet. The technicians at face value were very polite. They cleaned the couch. Their cleaning was appropriate, but at no point was I informed of the destroyed landscaping. The destroyed landscaping was not discovered until shortly after they left, and my wife pulled into the driveway. No other cars were in the driveway before my wife and after Teesdale Fenton had left. I made contact with the Corporate Office and was advised that a manager would get in contact with me the next day, as he was out of the office at the time of call. The following day was a Friday and I was not contacted by anyone from the Teesdale Fenton group. The weekend went by and on Monday I made contact with their office again I talked to a what I believe to be a secretary, who told me “yes sir, I remember you had called. I will put you on the top of our managers' list as he is currently in a meeting. But you are the next priority.” The day came and went, and no one contacted me. I contacted them again on Tuesday. I was informed by the lady who answered the phone yes sir I know your situation for my coworkers had been talking about what had happened. I will make you a top priority for the managers. They have been in meetings throughout the day today and are in meetings now. They will contact you. At that time, I asked to be escalated beyond the manager. I was told that initially, the manager I needed to talk to was the manager of the technicians, and he was aware of the situation and would contact me. I politely asked her to pass me on to whoever was above this manager. I was told that was the vice president of the company. I respectfully asked for her to pass my information on to both the technician manager and the vice president she informed me that that would take place. Today is now Wednesday, and I have had no contact still from anyone in the Teasdale Fenton company. This situation can only lead me to believe that there is one reason for this outcome. That reason is from the top of the company down, there is no pride, ownership, caring, or integrity for their product or customers. They do not care about their customers!. This is a lack of ownership, and the only person that can be held truly responsible for these actions is the owner of the company, he has created an obvious atmosphere where his people do not feel they can do their jobs in a manner that lets them work for the customer. If this is not the case, and I am wrong, then I apologize, but to go an entire business week and not be contacted by anyone, this to me shows that they have a lack of care for the people they are supposed to be helping. I encourage anyone from the company to please take responsibility. Take ownership of your product and contact me. I wish to settle this matter, but at this time, it seems to be impossible to just get a simple call back and acknowledgement of the problem.**Edit** 07/29/2025Hello Mr. Prudin,I sent you an email with my contact information within an hour of your post. Please check your spam filter, as I have still not had contact from your company. Thanks, Greg.
