SERVPRO of Fort Walton Beach Reviews
I have nothing but good things to say about the workers who accomplished the cleanup and removal of the water damaged drywall, carpet padding, and baseboards. It was done with professionalism and they were knowledgeable and communicated freely with me. I’m sure the repair crews will be the same. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the administrative staff and management. In five phone calls to inquire about scheduling repair, I never got the same answer twice. I had to coordinate between insurance adjuster and management to get to the bottom of the issue. Finally getting things resolved almost two weeks after the water mitigation was complete. Repairs are now scheduled to begin… hopefully things will go smoothly from here.
May 30, 2025 · Mark KinseyThe entire staff of Servpro of Fort Walton Beach has been incredible! We had a slow leak (failed PLASTIC [🤬] housing on an under sink water filter) that started while we were out on a 3-week vacation. No water was ever visible outside of the cabinet, so until my nose told me something was up and prompted me to search for the source of the smell (rapidly expanding mold), we were blissfully unaware. Our insurance hesitated, but once they agreed to accept the claim (7PM), Servpro was alerted and they were at the house w/in short order. They worked until almost 11PM that evening assessing the extent of moisture intrusion and setting up all sorts of drying equipment and air scrubbers to keep mold spore dispersion to a minimum. They removed all mold-infested material (cabinet, drywall, insulation), checked moisture levels every day (8 days to fully dry), and treated as needed (multiple applications) to kill active mold and prevent recurrence.Morgan, Gabriel, Michael and Jorge were all fantastic to work with… cannot say thank you enough for all your incredible efforts on our behalf!
May 30, 2025 · Pancho BarnesInconsistent Service: Excellence in Remediation, Failure in ReconstructionFollowing a house fire three years ago, we engaged Servpro of Fort Walton Beach for remediation services. Their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and technical expertise during this phase, restoring the affected areas with efficiency and care. Based on this positive experience, we entrusted them with the subsequent rebuild.Regrettably, this decision proved to be ill-advised. The reconstruction process was characterized by severe disorganization, inadequate communication, and a troubling lack of competency. Throughout the project, Servpro went through three different project managers, each unable to provide the necessary oversight and coordination. As the situation deteriorated, we were ultimately forced to assume management responsibilities ourselves, despite having full funding available to support the project.Given the continued failures, the only viable course of action was a mutual termination of the agreement. While Servpro excels in remediation services, their rebuild division operates at an unacceptable standard. Potential clients should exercise caution when considering their reconstruction offerings.
Jun 11, 2025 · danny dillardI told them I would not leave a review but I decided to leave one. I do not expect a response. The 1 star I gave is solely based on the mitigation team. If I could only rate them i would but I also hired Servpro to do the reconstruction as well..Now for the positive side: David, Gabriel, Isiah, Nick, Kristin, and John are very nice and listen to your concerns. That is it for the positives.Negatives: I would fire the Director of Operations and both the construction PMs.New flooring covered by insurance: I asked repeatedly if the flooring was within the insurance budget- They told me "Yes". Guess what it wasn't. They over ordered the amount flooring needed. I was told by the PM that the unused unopened boxes would be returned and I would be credited. They did not take the extra flooring "because ServPro would incur a restocking fee"My insurance company told them to buy boxes, packing material and movers to move my household goods into a container while construction was going on. They had a "trained" in house team that would take care of all this. They damaged over $1200 of my stuff, they only used 6 cardboard boxes and left the container open over night- it rained- They didn't tell me, my pool guy told me and I had to send them the video from my security camera. The flooring in my house has "hollow" sounds when you tap in spots. All the PMs gave were what I call "bro answers". The other PM, was not friendly and the Director of operations was just dismissive. The director of Ops even stalled my second construction project because I hadn't paid anything on it, but luckily i had receipts- they didn't track the money correctly. They also lost my shower door and somehow it became my problem "do you have pictures of the doors in the dumpster?" they asked. Why would i take pictures of random objects in the dumpter.I have texts and pictures of this debacle. Do not use them until they fire the people mentioned above. I actually had to ban the field PM from stepping foot on my property. They are not good at project management. I can not stress that the construction portion of my project was probably one the worst experiences in my life.
Jun 29, 2025 · Emilio NatalioOh my goodness, where do I even begin? This past week has been unbelievably stressful. Our guest bathroom toilet tank cracked right down the middle, and before we knew it, the house was flooded. We reached out to SERVPRO that same day, and they were INCREDIBLY prompt—arriving at our house in less than a couple of hours. From that moment on, their team has been here every single day, working tirelessly to make the recovery process as smooth and quick as possible. They’ve kept us updated every step of the way, provided constant progress reports, and even advocated for us with our insurance company.I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kristen, Gabriel, and Duncan! There are others I’d love to include, but unfortunately, I don’t remember everyone’s name. There truly aren’t enough words to express how much stress their hard work has saved me and my family.Thank you, SERVPRO!
