★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Reposting as the company asked me to take the review down in good faith while “looking into the claim”.I had a water leak that ended up dropping some ceiling on the first floor so I submitted a claim to Travelers and upon speaking with my agent they advised they use and dispatch ServiceMaster for their restoration and water damage services.I spoke with a representative whom got people scheduled quickly, however after the first field visit it all went downhill. We had trouble getting a hold of the service technicians in the field who were supposed to be there to check on the equipment and status of water damage.After not hearing from the technicians and having to reach out to contacts directly rather than the office schedule their employees and hold the responsible we uncovered that one of the dehumidifiers had the hose disconnected and was leaking water all through the floor on the first half bath. This water penetrated the tile floor, cement board underlayment, and subfloor; dripping and leaking into the basement below. No technicians on site, I had to turn the machine off myself to make sure no further damage was done.The come and replace the equipment the next day, and then it runs for about 5 days straight tripling my electric bill. After it tested at an adequate moisture level the machines were removed.Now I’m left with further damage to my condo AFTER ServiceMaster was dispatched by my insurance company. And nobody wants to be responsible for damages. The fact of the matter is these damages would not have happened if ServiceMaster did not come into my home.I would use someone else or think twice about using ServiceMaster so you don’t have the same headache as me. Original claim 6/23/25. Still not back into my place. BEWARE.

Can't say enough good things about the team from the 235 Newfield Ave hartford CT location that did a masterful job with superb service!Literally, they left the job cleaner and the site better than it was before we had our water accident!Jason & Shawn responded within seconds, and the team was on-site within minutes not even a half hour.Bill is the calm and wise eminent mitigation boss. Ray and Angel (and one other guy I think Daniel?) were energetic, super polite, and like a bunch of gremlins with OCD because they were so clean that when they left the house was cleaner than when they got there! Get it? Gremlins are anti-water :)If you need a crew, these guys have your back, are on your side, and know their sh**! 6 Stars!

We went through one service company that our insurance company picked when we had a sewer leak and they ruined our basement and broke our appliances. They took apart our radiators so we cannot even use heat in the basement in this cold weather. We were all beyond stressed and then we received a call from Shane. They scheduled our appointment around my schedule because I have missed so much time in the last six weeks with the other company that kept blowing us off. They did more work in one day than the last group that kept rescheduling for almost 6 weeks. Everyone that showed up was very caring and went above and beyond. They were so polite and actually listened to us and every single person that was here made us feel like everything will be fixed and our house will be back to normal soon. They went through all the clothing we had that was soaking wet mixed in with all belongings in the basement including paper that they took out of our dressers and desk and just mixed with all the wet clothing. When I say it was a complete disaster it is not an exaggeration Soaking wet clothes, mixed with all our important paperworkThat the old agency Just threw everything in garbage bags. The last group Would not even rip up the tack strips on our floor from The carpeting and my daughter ended up getting a tetanus shot with a deep wound. I would highly suggest this company to anyone. If you are going through an insurance company for something There is not a better group out there to help you. Thank you to the entire team that showed up and thank Your agency for giving us hope that our house will be back to normal.
