- Superior Durability and Protection: The ceramic elastomeric coating is five times thicker than traditional paint. It is designed to be waterproof, fire-resistant with a Class A rating, and resistant to mold, mildew, and algae growth, providing a superior shield against the elements.
- Expert Application Process: Their crews are not just painters; they are certified professional installers who are trained to apply the Rhino Shield system. This ensures the product is applied correctly, maximizing its longevity and effectiveness.
- Aesthetically Pleasing and Versatile: The coating looks like a beautiful coat of fresh paint and is available in thousands of colors. This allows homeowners to achieve the exact look they want without sacrificing durability.

Jul 22, 2025 · Dick WThank you Rhino Shield!!!You approached our project with the utmost professionalism, efficiency and quality. Pat and his crew were so easy to work with, paying attention all the necessary details to make our home a beautiful one. We LOVE our newly painted home!!We highly recommend Rhino Shield!!
Mar 24, 2025 · Brenda BrawnWe had Rhinoshield paint used to repaint our entire house in 2015. The folks we worked with were amazing, but the subcontractor hired to replace a lot of shingles did a poor job and did not use stainless nails. As a result we have a lot of rust that has made its way through the paint. The paint has also faded pretty badly in 10 years on the sunniest side of the house, leaving each side of the house looking like it was painted at different times.Despite the excellent warranty, l wouldn't use Rhinoshield paint again. I understand the seasons can be tough with very cold winters and very hot summers, but I was expecting the paint to hold up better. It hasn't peeled but it really looks poorly and we're going to have to have the house repainted again and it's only been 10 years. If you go with Rhinoshield, make sure all your shingles are pristine or reshingle your house before you use this paint or you will regret it.
May 17, 2025 · Liz Graham-MeredithWe recently had the pleasure of working with Rhino Shield while renovating our newly acquired Inn, The Burbank Rose, in Newport, Rhode Island, and the entire process went flawlessly. From start to finish, Rhino Shield demonstrated their expertise, from surface preparation to the precise application of their ceramic coating. What truly sets Rhino Shield apart is their dedication to customer satisfaction. They not only met but exceeded our expectations at every step of the way. Their team was professional, communicative, respectful of our property, and cognizant of the other companies working on the building.Choosing Rhino Shield was undoubtedly the right decision for us. They have not only preserved the rich history of our Inn but also enhanced its allure for years to come. And to top it all off, they offer a lifetime warranty on their work.We are grateful for their help in restoring the property and highly recommend them to anyone seeking to protect and beautify their home.
Aug 08, 2024 · Dennis MelvinWriting a review of our experience with RhinoShield is a challenge, especially with the character limit! There were highs and lows, and so I'm going to try to break down my review into steps.1. I'm giving three stars for our meeting with the RhinoShield sales representative and what went into our decision to go with RhinoShield, and for the preps involved. It was not the high pressure sales tactics, although there was some of that. The reason for the three stars is that while they gave us a lot of information on the RhinoShield paint product itself, the education they gave us regarding the level of preparation required to actually paint the house with RhinoShield was inadequate. The level of "wood replacement," the fact that they needed to use my well water to powerwash the house or pay an additional out-of-pocket cost for them to rent a self-contained power washer was not explained. They also tried four times to start the job early, before the date we agreed on, and I had to keep telling them that they had to wait (to their credit, they did back off each time).2. I'm giving 2.5 stars for day one to start the job. I would give a more complete description of why if they had a higher character limit for this review, but suffice to say that the bargaining I had to do for the "prep" work replacing some wood siding felt very "scam" like. When the work crew first showed up, they made a big deal out of saying that my house looked like a lot of the siding would have to be replaced. They described a lot of the house as having "bad wood". (My house has high quality cedar clapboards; and it was mostly good wood!) We bargained and put a cap on the cost for the work that did need to be done; however, once I agreed on a price to do the carpentry work, the crew's opinion changed from the house having "bad wood" to to the house having "good wood". While I can't say that anyone had bad intentions, I cannot shake the idea that I was somewhat taken for a ride. I had to get the work done, otherwise the RhinoShield rep said that they'd have to "adjust" the warranty, and I was already locked into the contract and could not afford to cancel it, so I felt I had zero bargaining power. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.3. I'm giving 3.5 stars for the work. I will say that the work crew did a good job for the work that they did. They were professional and competent in both the carpentry work and the painting. There's were some spots with overspray and I had to point out some "touchup work" that needed to be fixed. Some low points were that they showed up later than they said they would nearly every day, and they did not clean up after themselves. I found literally a hundred nails in my lawn and even the driveway after the carpentry work was done, as well as four used razor blades from a utility knife.4. The paint job, as far as looks, is 5 star! Our house has never looked as good as it does right now, never. It looks beautiful; like brand new out of the box from the i-store beautiful.5. In the end, I think any review has to answer the question: if I had to do it over again, would I? This question is almost impossible to answer, because it honestly won't be worth it unless I don't have to paint my house for the next 25 years. RhinoShield costs 2-3 times the cost of a regular paint job, and if I have to paint my house again in 7-9 years, then it was very much not worth it. However, 25 years from now if my house looks as good as it does right now, then it was well worth it. So, I guess I'll come back and answer this question when I'm 80?6. Adding it all up, I give RhinoShield of New England 4 stars with some reservations. If I had to do it over again, I would absolutely not have signed the paint contract until Rhinoshield and I had a firm agreement on the carpentry work that needed to be accomplished to support their fully honoring the warranty, and I would have contracted that work out to someone else before the painting start so that I could get the best price and keep some power for myself in the negotiations for that work.
