Reliant Mold Testing Introduce
For property owners, buyers, and managers across Texas, ensuring the structural health and environmental safety of a building is paramount. The humid climate of the Gulf Coast region, especially around Houston, makes concerns like **mold** and hidden **water intrusion** a very serious, and unfortunately, common risk. This is where **Reliant Mold Testing**, operating as a dedicated **Environmental consultant** and **Home inspector**, becomes an invaluable local resource. They specialize in providing the expert, unbiased analysis you need to make critical decisions about your property.
Reliant Mold Testing’s primary strength lies in its specialized focus on comprehensive **Mold Testing and Inspections**. Their professional approach, exemplified by their consultant Robin, ensures that clients receive thorough, knowledgeable service under tight deadlines, a crucial factor in real estate transactions and post-damage recovery. As one grateful client noted, the quick, same-day delivery of results on a prospective purchase saved them from buying a house "full of **toxic black mold**," demonstrating the real-world financial and health value of their expertise.
Beyond mold, Reliant Mold Testing is licensed and equipped to handle a wide spectrum of property assessments, positioning them as a versatile firm in the Houston area. Their service categories span from general **Home Inspections** and **Commercial real estate inspector** services to targeted tests for hazardous materials like **Asbestos sampling** and **Lead-based paint testing**. This expansive knowledge base, delivered with a high level of "competence, acumen, and reliability," makes them a trusted partner for safeguarding Texas investments.
In Texas, particularly in the Houston metroplex where water damage risk is high, the process of mold assessment is highly regulated to protect consumers. A core function of a reliable firm like Reliant Mold Testing is to serve as a Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC). Texas state law often requires that the consultant who performs the inspection and testing, and writes the **Mold Remediation Protocol**, must be an independent, third party, separate from the company that performs the cleanup (remediation).
Reliant Mold Testing embraces this separation, ensuring that their findings are purely factual and free of the conflict of interest that might tempt a restoration company to inflate the necessary scope of work. They provide the necessary scientific backing for any mold situation, from collecting **Mold Swabs & Surface Samples** to conducting **Post Remediation Clearance Testing**—the final step required to obtain a vital **Certificate Of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR)**. This certificate is crucial, as Texas law states that a property owner is not liable for damages related to mold remediation on a property if a CMDR has been properly issued.
Their services are essential not just for active mold concerns but also for routine property due diligence. Whether you are buying an existing home, inspecting a new build (**New construction inspections**), or managing rental properties, their comprehensive inspection offerings help identify hidden hazards, moisture issues, and structural concerns before they become costly emergencies.
Reliant Mold Testing operates out of a key location in the greater Houston area, enabling them to provide prompt and reliable service across one of the largest and fastest-growing metropolitan regions in Texas. Their strategic position ensures quick deployment for time-sensitive issues, which is often the case in mold, fire, and **Water damage restoration service** scenarios.

For property owners in Texas, especially those in the high-humidity Gulf Coast, choosing Reliant Mold Testing is an investment in certainty and security. What makes them uniquely worth choosing boils down to their commitment to being an independent, client-focused environmental sentinel.
The most critical reason to rely on them is their dedicated role as a third-party **Environmental consultant**. Texas regulations are designed to separate the inspector/assessor from the remediator to prevent fraud, and Reliant fully embodies this standard. Their job is to tell you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it via a detailed **Mold Remediation Protocol**, without being the one to profit from the repair. This independence is what saved one customer from purchasing a property with significant hidden damage, a testament to their integrity and the thoroughness of their inspectors.
Furthermore, their ability to provide the full spectrum of licensed mold services—from the initial **Mold Assessment** to the crucial **Post Remediation Clearance Testing** for the **CMDR**—simplifies a complex, stressful process. They are also adept at combining this specialized environmental work with general **Home Inspections** and commercial property assessments, making them the singular expert contact for all property safety and health concerns. When you need clear facts, fast results, and an honest opinion in a high-stakes real estate or damage situation, Reliant Mold Testing’s documented history of "knowledgeable, thorough, and very responsive" service proves they are the trusted choice for Texans.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Reliant was very responsive to our timetable. They performed the analysis and quickly returned the results. I recommend Reliant to everyone who suspects or has a mold problem in their home. Robin was wonderful to deal with during the analysis. She took the time to explain what she was doing and gave me a quick education on the different kinds of molds that one can expect under the circumstances. We will have Robin come back after mold remediation to perform another air quality test to make sure we do not have mold spores floating around after demo and reconstruction. 5-star competence, acumen, and reliability!
Dec 03, 2018 · LydiaRobin from Reliant Mold saved us from purchasing a house with toxic black mold last month. At the very end of our option period, another inspection company recommended that we have a mold inspection, so we were scrambling to find someone to do an inspection within a day's notice. Robin not only did the inspection but also produced the results on the same day. Thanks to her, we found out that the house was full of toxic mold and needed serious work, so we didn't purchase the house. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and very responsive. We are forever thankful that we called Robin from Reliant Mold and will recommend her to anyone!
Apr 09, 2019 · Emily NelsonI chose Reliant Mold Testing out of many companies because of the good review in google also how Robin explained to me the whole process in such a great and detailed way. I made an appointment on Saturday morning at 10:00 am, but nobody show up at the appointment. I called the office main number maybe 10 times then Robin picked it up and said that the time they have is at 12:00 pm, probably the admin entered the wrong dates. But quickly she rescheduled the appointment and came out herself at around 11:30 am and gave me a discount due to their mistakes. She spent time in the house for the inspection and did very detailed review and testings, explained any questions I had, everything is great. On Tuesday, I received the lab results for testing, and she called me to explain everything in the report. I would give 5 stars if things can keep this standard. After discussing in the phone, Robin mentioned that she will send me the report shortly and schedule a protocol to be done on Friday so that I could get it on Monday. With such expectations in mind, I waited and waited, but never received anything. I tried to call the office number, nobody ever picked up the phone. I sent emails, nobody responded. I was in such situation for probably another week, until I emailed again mentioned that if I don't hear back by Sat, I will have somebody else to do the work. Then I got an email response to say report will be sent shortly and Protocol will be done next day or two. So I waited again and never heard everything back. Everyday I called and emailed with no responses. Eventually I got really tired after three weeks of waiting, I sent an email to say if I don't receive anything by the end of the day, I will consider all of our service terminated. Then I received the initial testing report at that time three weeks later. And now more than a month later, I still never heard anything back on the Protocal and I gave up on getting it. So please take this into consideration if you want to get reports timely.
Aug 14, 2019 · Nan JiangEven though it was no-call-no-show at first, Ms. Robin caught up with her schedule and provided a good service. Since the lab report came out normal, we were satisfied with the service. However, it's been several months (almost 10months I think), we still haven't received our report or Ms. Robin's assessment. I sent her multiple email, and still no response. So, watch out from that, make sure you get the report if you use them.
Sep 12, 2018 · Shamima NasrinThis team is great. While I ended up getting out of the shady situation, Robin was the quickest of any company I called to call me back. And this was at like 10pm! So of course I was quite excited to hear back so soon. She walked me thru the consult process and told me about what the various causes of the odor I was smelling could be - and went over the different types of mold and mold testing they do.I ultimately ended up getting out of the shady situation with my landlord, but I’d highly recommend Reliant to anyone who suspects their home or property may have a mold problem.
