## What is Worth Choosing
When selecting a general contractor in Michigan for disaster recovery, the scope and breadth of services are a major factor. Rapid Recovery Service offers an exceptionally wide range of specialized services, making them a one-stop-shop for complex property damage restoration. The ability to manage everything from initial Water damage-related cleanup & repair and Fire damage cleanup & repair through to full Remodeling and reconstruction is highly valuable. This comprehensive approach, combined with the provision of Hour Emergency Service, means they are technically prepared to handle nearly any kind of property disaster encountered in the state, from a burst pipe to major storm damage.
Their commitment to using advanced techniques like Infrared Thermography and specialized drying and cleaning equipment underscores a dedication to a professional and thorough restoration outcome. Furthermore, the explicit support for the Insurance Claim process is a significant benefit for homeowners navigating the financial aspects of restoration.
However, for all restoration projects, especially those involving emergency response and insurance, potential clients should always perform their due diligence. While the technical capabilities and service offerings are extensive, customer feedback is an important factor. Some past customers have reported challenges related to initial contact, adherence to verbally quoted pricing, and delays in the commencement of work and project timelines. Therefore, while their extensive service list and emergency availability are clear assets, new clients are encouraged to obtain a detailed written contract that clearly defines the scope, timeline, and all associated costs to set clear expectations and ensure a smooth project progression from the outset.
The sheer technical capacity to address structural damage, health concerns (like mold and lead), and full reconstruction makes Rapid Recovery Service a technically viable option for property restoration in Michigan, provided clients establish and confirm clear communication and scheduling protocols upfront.

Rapid Recovery Service Reviews
Our basement flooded and the insurance company referred this company to come out and make the necessary repairs which included cleaning and repainting the floor. It took forever for them to make the initial contact. After they submitted the quote and was approved through the insurance, they never called for a date of service. Given the fact that the holiday was on a Monday, I gave them a few extra days. I had to call to see what the hold was and was told they were waiting for the company they use to pack up the things in my basement. We'll it's been six weeks and I'm still waiting. They're not worthy of one star.
Jul 24, 2022 · NeeMel WilkinsAlthough the staff are friendly when you call them, their follow up is poor at best, and they aren’t able to honor the pricing they verbally give you or the timeframe for the commencement of the job.Price almost doubled from the call I received while they were on the job looking at the restoration and the time to start the job went from “we can start next week” to we’re now 60 days out before we can begin two days after they told me it would start next week.I don’t know anyone who likes getting jerked around, but this was my experience with this company after engaging them and paying for a mold test before starting work. Going to find a different company for the restoration.
Aug 16, 2018 · Daniel LitvinThey really did a lot of work restoring my Mom's house & I liked working with them. I did find some things after the fact that made me feel a bit disappointed. There were things I didn't know to check before they finished. Overall they're a good company, you just need to keep track of details.
