Extremely Disappointed – Unsafe and Unfinished HomeI cannot express how horrible our experience has been with Paul Davis Restoration. What was already a stressful situation was made exponentially worse by the lack of communication and accountability from the project manager and the team. Their inability to keep the job moving forward or provide clear updates left us constantly in the dark and chasing answers.They moved our family—including three young children under the age of 8—back into our home before the job was complete and without regard for our safety or basic living needs. We returned to hazardous conditions: nails, debris, old drywall, discarded doors, and more left throughout the house. Tack strips under the carpet were not properly installed, resulting in our 8-year-old being cut on his foot. To make matters worse, the house has no air conditioning, and temperatures inside have reached 98 degrees, forcing our pets to stay in extreme heat.We had no hot water, and the kitchen was not properly prepared for appliance installation. Because of this, our dishwasher and microwave were not installed or functioning for days after moving in. Several lights and fixtures were left unfinished, and no clear timeline has been given to address these issues.Even after repeatedly bringing it to Paul Davis Restoration's attention that our home still smelled like smoke — and even pointing out visibly burnt wood — they continued to reassure us that the smell would be gone by the time the job was finished. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The smoke odor is still very present, and even some of the contractors they hired have walked in and commented on how strong the smell still is.In an effort to resolve this, a chimney company and two separate HVAC companies were brought out to clean the vent system in hopes of eliminating the smoke smell. Despite all these attempts, the odor remains. It's incredibly disappointing to have raised these concerns so many times and not have them taken seriously.We have reached out to Paul Davis corporate four separate times to escalate our concerns and seek help — and have yet to receive a single response.This company has shown a shocking lack of professionalism and care. We trusted Paul Davis Restoration with our home, and they failed us in nearly every way possible. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, safe, or timely restoration services.

I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration. We had two separate water damage incidents and they were there so quickly. They are also very knowledgeable and made our experience very simple. John and Dylan went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Hope you don’t experience flooding in your home… but if you do I would absolutely recommend Paul Davis Restoration.

We have been dealing with this company for two months now with no end in sight. Gary is over our project and straight up ignores our call/text. He reads them and never replies. This was a small flood that shouldn’t have taken more than a couple weeks to fix. The guys don’t show up when scheduled or they cancel. They have dragged this job far to long. The quality of their work is so very poor! Paint is very patchy and they didn’t tape anything off to do a decent job. They do the bare minimal. They’ve put holes in our walls, used our garage for more than a week for painting baseboards. Ruined our carpet with paint and rips. That we are stuck paying for out of pocket. They only care about getting as much money they can while cheating us out of Quality work. I will never recommend this company. This has been the most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere!

This company has been terrible to deal with! It have been almost 4 months since they started our restoration from a flood! They will not respond to calls or texts and they promise to show up and don’t show! The workers for the company have broken numerous things in our home and the installation of everything has been low grade so far!! Very unhappy!
