Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration Introduce
When disaster strikes a home or business on Long Island, the immediate aftermath can be overwhelming. From burst pipes and basement flooding to the complex cleanup required after a fire, New York property owners need more than just a quick fix—they need a reliable partner who can manage the entire recovery process from start to finish. This is where a specialized contractor, like Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration, plays a critical and comprehensive role, offering both immediate cleanup expertise and skilled general contracting for the necessary reconstruction and repairs.
In the New York region, especially across Suffolk County, properties are often susceptible to unique environmental challenges, including coastal flooding and severe winter weather that can lead to burst pipes. These events demand a contractor with dual expertise: the specialized knowledge of a restoration company for safe and thorough mitigation, and the construction management skills of a general contractor to rebuild and restore the property to its pre-damage condition, or even better. Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration offers this all-in-one solution, streamlining a potentially complex and stressful recovery process for local residents.
At its core, a general contractor’s role is to oversee a construction or remodeling project, ensuring quality and coordinating all subcontractors. However, a contractor specializing in restoration, such as Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration, brings a unique, emergency-focused skill set to the table. Their expertise begins the moment water damage, fire damage, or a sewage backup occurs, focusing on rapid mitigation to prevent secondary damage like structural failure or mold growth. Once the property is stabilized, their general contracting capability takes over, managing the entire reconstruction phase, from drywall and painting to complete structural repairs. This integrated approach is invaluable for busy New York homeowners and commercial property managers.
Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration, a family-owned business with years of experience serving Suffolk County, prides itself on being a single point of contact for a total property recovery. This eliminates the headache and potential delays of coordinating a cleanup crew, a mold specialist, and a separate general contractor for the rebuild. For Long Island residents dealing with an unexpected property crisis, having one professional team handle the entire journey—from emergency response to the final coat of paint—is an enormous benefit.
Location and Accessibility
Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration is strategically based in the heart of Suffolk County, allowing them to provide rapid response services across the Long Island region. The company's primary office is located to effectively serve the local community:
3 Midhampton Ave Unit 5, Quogue, NY 11959, USA

For customers requiring in-person meetings, the location also offers a wheelchair accessible parking lot, ensuring ease of access.

What Is Worth Choosing
For any New York property owner facing water, fire, or mold damage, choosing a combined restoration and general contracting service like Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration offers profound advantages over hiring two separate firms. The biggest benefit is efficiency and accountability. When a single company handles both the initial cleaning (mitigation) and the subsequent rebuilding (restoration/reconstruction), the entire process moves faster. There are no handoff delays, no blame shifting between different contractors, and a single, cohesive plan for recovery is followed from the moment the emergency call is placed.
Real-life experiences, such as the customer who dealt with burst pipes during bitter cold, underscore this value. The client noted how the team “promptly stabilized the situation, eliminating the potential for mold and did all the preparations necessary for the insurance adjuster.” This dual function is key. A typical general contractor may not have the specialized drying and sanitization equipment needed to prevent mold, while a cleanup-only company would leave the property owner to scramble for a separate contractor to handle the drywall, painting, and flooring repairs. Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration seamlessly transitioned from cleanup to thorough and professional repairs, even assisting the client with pre-sale preparations beyond the initial insurance-covered work.
Furthermore, their in-depth experience with mold and sewage cleanup is critical in a densely populated region like Long Island. These issues require specific expertise and equipment to be handled safely and effectively, ensuring the property is not only visually restored but is also hygienically safe. The combination of 24/7 emergency response, a proven track record of professional reconstruction, and dedication to transparent customer communication makes Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration a top choice for comprehensive, stress-free property recovery in the New York area.
Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration Services
Water Damage Restoration Service
- Mold inspection
Cleaning visible mold is not enough: Mold can grow in fiberglass insulation, on top of ceiling tiles, inside ducts, behind drywall panels, in wall cavities, and behind wallpaper.
- Painting
- Sewage cleanup
Despite this, there’s thousands of articles on the web explaining how do-it-yourself sewage cleaning can be done. Beware! It’s simply not something you should ever deal with yourself. In fact, it’s not even safe to be in a home where there is exposed raw sewage.
- Water damage-related cleanup & repair
After you experience water damage, there is a very small window of time in which you need to begin clean up to minimize the damage and to avoid mold growth. We maintain solid working relationships with major insurance companies and their adjusters to assist property owners throughout the claims.
- Water damage-related mold removal
Even when it's visible, it's often impossible (even for an expert) to tell the difference between mold, soot, and dirt without testing. The mold you can see is just the beginning, and some of it is extremely hard to find!

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Extenuating circumstances combined with bitter cold weather resulted in burst pipes behind the wall of an upstairs bath. I was alerted only when moisture was detected by a sensor in the basement. My bad luck turned when I called Hygienic. They promptly stabilized the situation, eliminating the potential for mold and did all the preparations necessary for the insurance adjuster. The repairs were thorough and professional. The drywall work, painting, floors, and carpet all looked great when finished. I especially appreciated them working with us to get beyond covered insurance repairs to prepare the home for sale.
Aug 24, 2025 · Peter GustafsonThe Hygienic Cleaning crew were very professional and responsive from first contact. They showed up when they said they would, and provided a detailed and fair quote. They started work immediately, they were diligent, thorough, and completed the work timely. I would hire them again without hesitation.
Sep 28, 2025 · Gustavo CamineroHad this crew do several jobs including mold remediation, repairing a water damaged ceiling and completely redid our rotted pool shed with new tile as well. They did a terrific job and would definitely use again in the future! Very professional.
Aug 08, 2025 · Teresa HubbardThe morning of the day I was being discharged from the hospital, someone went to my house to feed my cats. They found that a refrigerator supply line their had froze, and caused water damage in two rooms, and a hallway. All as i had to do, was make one phone call from my hospital bed, and Hygeniec Cleaning and Restoration took care of the mess. Andriy had a crew there immediately and removed damaged flooring and walls, and set up equipment to dry everything up before mold had a chance to start growing. On a good day this would have been great. Getting this done so easily while I was in the hospital, and on my way home was an incredible relief. My insurance company were familiar with Hygeniec and approved his work, without question.
Sep 04, 2025 · John W MarkI have used Hygienic Cleaning & Restoration for multiple flood remediations and their customer service and quality of work are second to none. Andriy, Kevin and the entire crew are extremely responsive and easy to work with. They work quickly and deal directly with your insurance company to make the process as painless as possible. Best of all by the time they're done they leave the house good as new. Can't recommend them enough!
