What is Worth Choosing
For local Georgia homeowners facing the all-too-common challenges of a damp crawl space, foundation issues, or structural wood damage, Crawlspace Medic of Augusta offers compelling reasons to choose their services. Their unique value proposition lies in the combination of a general contractor's capability with a specialist's depth of knowledge in waterproofing and moisture remediation.
The humid climate of the South creates an ideal environment for water seepage, mold growth, and pest infestations, all of which compromise your home's structure and air quality. Choosing a specialized contractor like Crawlspace Medic of Augusta ensures that the root cause of these issues is addressed, not just the symptoms. For instance, a basic vapor barrier is a start, but a full crawl space encapsulation system—complete with proper drainage, professional-grade dehumidification, and structural repair—is often the definitive solution needed to secure a home's foundation for years to come.
Customer feedback repeatedly emphasizes their honesty and thoroughness. The process of foundation and crawl space work can be intimidating and costly, but clients appreciate the company's detailed, multi-point inspections and transparent quoting that clearly explains what is necessary versus what might be a beneficial upgrade. This ethical business practice builds essential trust in a field where homeowners often feel vulnerable to upselling.
From addressing immediate concerns like a flooded basement or the noticeable symptom of sagging floors, to installing preventative measures like French drains and permanent dehumidifiers, Crawlspace Medic of Augusta is equipped to handle the full scope of your home's subterranean needs. By choosing a partner dedicated to the long-term health and stability of your property, you are investing in improved indoor air quality, reduced energy costs (as a dry crawl space is more energy efficient), and the structural integrity that protects your home's value in the competitive Georgia real estate market. They are more than just a repair company; they are a long-term home health solution provider for the Evans and Augusta communities.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had 3 homes with issues. Our cottage needed french drain, sump pump, dehumidifier, power wired, and encapsulation. The Farm house needed encapsulation and dehumidifier & wired power. Finally our main home needed floor jacks and the old piers removed. These folks went out of their way to do meticulous work on 3 very different problem sets. High attention to detail, and completed work in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves. Also their prices can't be beat, and you are not compromising in service. 100% will recommend them to anyone, the other quotes I got had less scope of work and bids were at least double the cost. Note the said our main home didn't need encapsulation or dehumidifier, used tools that penetrated our beams vice regular air detection tools. This saved us a good 15K on the work as our main home is the largest. Honest, detailed and great communication.
May 01, 2025 · Rodney BenfieldThe crew did a great job! All the insulation was removed and hauled away and no debris left behind. The installation crew was knowledgeable and very professional. The communication with Kevin and his crew was great. I would definitely recommend this company! If there are any future issues I know I can rely on them. Thanks guys for doing a great job!
Sep 08, 2025 · kim silvaGreat and prompt service provided. Initial inspection upon which cost estimate based was very thorough and informative. Estimate sent via email and once deposit paid a date for the work to be done was set. The work was actually done earlier than initially scheduled and was completed as promised in just two days. The owner, Mr. Hudson was very professional and amicable and easy to work with. His employees were also very professional and worked hard to get the job done on time.Completely satisfied.
Aug 03, 2025 · elsapo0824Kevin and his team came out to our home to get to work the week after the hurricane! Our access door to our crawl space is behind a large row of mature bushes and they did not break a single branch! They were so careful on our property, were kind and friendly and answered all of questions as they worked on the encapsulation, finishing a day early than they estimated. They had given us the"worst case scenario" estimate so we were thrilled when the final cost was significantly lower than anticipated. Professional from beginning to end, prompt, honest and so easy to work with, Kevin even came back when we noted the mortar on the access door ledging was loose and could be recommend someone who could fix it (it was not part of the encapsulation) and he came out himself and fixed it and didn't even charge us. We now have an absolutely pristine crawl space that will save us money and has added value to our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a great local business: crawl space medic. You will be well taken care of!
Oct 24, 2024 · Stephanie AngeloKevin & his team did a great job putting down vapor barrier & installing a dehumidifier in my office crawl space where we had a great deal of moisture. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up our excess debris & behind themselves when finished. They did the work for the price agreed upon which was a competitive price for the work. I strongly recommend them to others with Crawl Space issues.
