We have just recently had AMC911 perform a partial encapsulation of our crawl space. Everything started as a discussion with Aron Griffith at the February 2025 Hampton Roads Home Show held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Aron was and has been a very personable, knowledgeable, and professional guide in our crawl space encapsulation journey...having answered all of our questions or getting back to us when he needed to. He took over 80 pictures of our crawl space and showed us some areas of concern. We had evidence of some issues already, with sheetrock stress cracks being present on both sides of the entryway between the kitchen and the wife's office; most likely caused by our large side-by-side refrigerator.He conferred with his boss, Brian, and came by on Saturday of the same week to give us an estimate. We agreed on the spot with the estimate and had such a positive experience with AMC911 that we didn't bother contacting any other companies to quote the job.The actual crawl space encapsulation took place from 18 to 24 March 2025, with the electrical installation being completed by Jeff on 31 March 2025. In addition to Aron, we also had Miguel, Phil, John, Victor, and Jorge performing the encapsulation. All installers were respectful, courteous, and professional. They removed and bundled the old fiberglass insulation and cleaned up after themselves each and every day.For those considering looking into doing a crawl space encapsulation, I fully recommend AMC911 to do the job. They are a family owned business with over 30 years of experience in the Hampton Roads area, and the inspection is free.Talked to our CPA about possible tax deductions for crawl space encapsulation, and it appears there are some available for this type of job. Will update this review upon completion of work and when we get more info on tax deductions.

Our front steps are 30 years old and they looked it. Loose brick and missing mortar in several places. It was not very attractive. We had several companies out to give an estimate but only AMC911 took time to explain what they would do and even took the time to match mortar color. AMC911 sent Josh and Paul out to remove all the old mortar, re-lay the loose bricks and re-mortar the front steps. They now look great. We wish we had done this sooner. We highly recommend this company.

AMC911 pointed me to Christian M. for a job that was outside the scope of their standard work. Christian was responsive, friendly and creative, and put time into figuring out how to address the problem. We had a video call so he could see the situation and determine what he would need, then he showed up ready to go. We had a few surprises along the way (absolutely nothing to do with his work -- that's just how things go sometimes) and Christian helped determine the next steps. He took photos and video for me, and hopped on calls with the "next step" contractors to explain what was going on. It was not a fun or straightforward job, involved several different issues (tree roots, foundation block, crawl space), and it is difficult to find anyone willing to help. I'm thankful that AMC911 cared enough to suggest a person who could help, and very grateful that Christian took the time.
