What is Worth Choosing: Safety and Specialized Oversight
The core reason to choose ACM Removal, LLC over a standard contractor is their unique and certified specialty in hazard remediation. For any project involving an older Kansas home or commercial building—especially one built before the 1980s—disturbing materials like flooring, insulation, or plaster without testing can expose occupants to dangerous asbestos fibers and dust. This is an unnecessary and irreversible health risk.
What is worth choosing about ACM Removal is the peace of mind that comes from engaging a company that expertly manages this critical first step. They don't just clear a space; they make it fundamentally safe. By acting as the environmental general contractor, they deliver a complete, legally compliant process: from testing and containment to removal, disposal, and final air clearance testing. This seamless, certified service allows homeowners and subsequent general contractors to proceed with renovation or restoration work confidently, knowing the most serious health and liability issues have been addressed by Kansas's top-rated, veteran-owned specialists. Their deep experience and commitment to professional integrity ensure that the job is done right, on time, and completely safely.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1ACM Removal did a fantastic job removing the original asbestos floor tiles and adhesive from the den of my 1955 home. John got an estimate to me the same day I first called, then his team of Chris and Mike were here two days later and had the tiles and adhesive gone, the air lab-tested, and finished up by later that afternoon. Reasonable price, great communication, and excellent customer service.
Apr 24, 2025 · Jay PiperMr. Fox and his team did a fantastic job removing about 1,500 SQ Ft of tile and mastic from my basement. The estimate was prompt, the removal was prompt, and the price (while not cheap) was actually less than what I expected. Great communication and would overall recommend.
Jun 03, 2025 · J SmithAffordable, professional, clean and considerate. ACM removed about 330 sq. ft. of asbestos vinyl tile and black mastic from our basement over the course of about 3 days. Day one was setup and the start of the tile removal, day two the remainder of the tile and the mastic were removed, and day 3 they removed the equipment and took an air sample. The test came back clean on the 4th day and they stopped by for about 5 minutes to remove the remaining poly and tape over the doorways. The crews that performed the work were helpful, polite, and kept things as clean as possible.LP was a pleasure to work with, was very accessible, and kept me informed every step of the way.10/10 - I would not hesitate to have them do any other asbestos or mold work in the future. The damage on the lower edge of the wall in the picture was preexisting and was not caused by ACM.
Aug 24, 2022 · Cale OstbyACM was professional from the first phone call till the final remediation work. John Fox is knowledgeable and efficient in communicating needs and expectations, and he even had his team clean up my crawl space insulation for me! The team was equally professional and listened to all our concerns. Highly recommend ACM.

John with ACM was able to get our issue resolved with immediate testing followed by removal of materials with asbestos. This enabled us to have our foundation issue resolved in a very short time.
